Tomorrow is supposed to be the start of the temperature cool down here. Today got to 80 F and tomorrow is supposed to be a high of 68 F with a whole 10 days forecast as being no higher than 70. I look forward to open windows and not running the air conditioner.

We are “supposed” to finally drop below 90°F starting on Saturday. Of course, it is starting a week of rain as well. Will have to wait to see if the drop in temps is only due to the rain or if we really are gonna start Fall.
Not looking forward to the week of rain, since I have to drive hubby all the way across the state to just across the line into Alabama. He has to have a procedure done on his back.
Finally finished out the war campaign on Kyzera. Had to take it slow and make sure I could do it all without killing any fellow Horde. Wasn’t easy, but I let the traitors do the killing since they seem to want to destroy the Horde so bad, let them have all the blood on their hands.

it’s like 48°F here atm…suppose to rain all next week too. hopefully i’ll have things taken care of by then, and i won’t need to venture outside, but considering my penchant for going outside…i’d say it’s not likely gonna work. xP

I looked at making my own Turducken this year. Too much work, you need to de-bone all the poultry first, then all the fun of prepping the smoker. Juts gonna go with a staight turket this year. Gonna smoke it though…

We are somewhat ready for Thanksgiving. I just need to pick up the turkey and the ham. I love cooking for others so will be having my parents, my brother in law and his wife, a friend of the family and my husband and I for the meal. Looking forward to it.

Finally got to see my roommates baby. Little four pounder, three weeks early, week in the NICU.
Her body wasn’t cooperating so, induction went to C-section to make sure he survived.

Decided to take a break from Classic as I kinda hit a wall with leveling. So I got back on retail and having fun playing my Orc Enhance Shaman. He’s 115 now and just finished Zuldazar and heading into Voldune.
In the real world, getting ready to pick up my sister’s Taurus she is giving me. Gotta have it towed as it needs a battery and not being legal. The fun part is figuring out how much I’ll owe in taxes to the state.

woke up at 3:30 this morning…logged in to do some dailies…checked out the location for Ren Yun’s tablet on my Paly and saw nothing.
debating about trying to get some sleep before i run some errands later. =_=
So, for my birthday a few months ago, my son gave me a small container of smoked ground Carolina Reaper. Last night, I finally worked up the courage to use some in a dish. I made a big pot of chicken and wild rice soup and added just a pinch.
One. Tiny. Little. Pinch.
The effect was not subtle.

i remember seeing the sauce used on “Hot Ones” from time to time. not a fan of hot or spicy foods, but there’s some i can manage.
there’s these General Tao chicken bites i get from my local grocery store that’s pretty good…not TOO spicy, and just enough sweetness to balance it out.
i’m not brave enough to tempt fate with Carolina Reaper though. xP

I have half a dozen fresh Reapers sitting on the kitchen counter. When my dad comes up for his annual visit (he’ll be here tomorrow, yay!), one of the two places he insists on visiting every year is my local cheese shop for a few blocks of Reaper cheddar. He’s really hoping to find something with Pepper X during this visit.

Judge warned us yesterday it was supposed to rain. She said report at 9 am but be safe. If we are late due to traffic and weather she would fully understand. She would rather start late than have somebody in an accident.
