[CS Lounge] Is it dangerous to go alone into the Shadowlands?

It’s happening again! :eyes: Went to Costco for some supplies. There was a line to get in. The paper towels were all gone and the tp :roll_of_toilet_paper: was just about gone. People were buying cases of water. Do they think the taps will shut off?

anyone check out wowhead yet? there’s an article on there about Nate and how he “doesn’t like people on his roof”.

he could kick a field goal from the 40y line, no trouble at all. .-.

Happened to me on my first attempt. Called me a coward or some such, then launched me halfway to the Thondroril River.

“I see you hiding over there”

I heard that a few times. I’ve fought him four times so far.

Don’t try going into his bedroom. It’s almost as good as going on the roof.

Started watching Buffy the Vampire Slayer from the beginning on Amazon. It’s impressive how precisely 90s this show is

I try to watch it. I get through an episode or two, but it’s just a bit too much for me to binge. Highlander? Yeah, I’ll binge that (if it ever comes to Prime).

I’d absolutely expect it. I’d also expect a heaping pile of backlash. I know restaurants are expecting to have close their dining rooms tomorrow.

I’m pretty sick of this whole thing. I’m a reasonably solitary person, but I definitely need social interaction. Here in Misery Missouri, we don’t have, nor will we likely ever see, a state-wide mask ordinance, much less any stay-at-home orders. Our governor may “advise” it, but he won’t order it.

I deleted my post because I felt people are getting tired of hearing about covid. At least i got most of my Christmas shopping done. Thanksgiving is done as well except for the cheeseball stuff. :cheese:

I feel like we are going to blow away. 60mph wind gusts. :dash:

Yeah - my sister was grumbling about it, too - she’s in Livonia. We’ve been pretty breezy today, but nothing like that. Had some storms run through last night, even some tornado warnings south and east of us, but we didn’t see any of the real rough stuff. Just some rain.

And I need to go buy something to whip up for Thanksgiving; I’ll probably get a turkey breast and make some stuffing or sweet potatoes (but not that casserole with marshmallows - Eww). I’m definitely not heading up home for the holiday, I just don’t feel like it’s the smartest idea right now.

I’ve been picking away at my Christmas shopping throughout the year, and I’m pretty close to done.

Spent a lot of time yesterday grinding Icecrown rares, and the only drop I got was the bag. Today, I’ve already gotten two “two-item” drops.

My Thanksgiving is just the people living in the house. Don’t forget a pumpkin pie! And the marshmallow casserole is just gross. :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:
You have a fryer? Deep fried turkey is the best.

Despite that wind, celebrate a walk off 59 yard field goal.

I picked up some Cajun Andouille sausage at the store Friday. Think of a polish sausage, but what I described.

Pulled two out, cut them on the bias so I had nice thin meaty bites. Saute with some onions, a little butter salt pepper and garlic powder. Put over some white rice. Quite the tasty lunch.

Even the picky 9 year old that thinks onions are yuck ate some, onions included. Now I am trying to keep my eyes open.

Livonia Latvia, Livonia Michigan, or Livonia New York?

The one thing Lions have is good (excellent) field goal kickers. That’s because they get a ton of practice.

I love polish sausage! My kids when they were small called it snake. :snake:

I love pumpkin pie, but I might make a mince pie this year. Or a recipe I have for a Colonial era Apple custard pie. Yummy, but I don’t have a ton of experience with the custard. Time for practice!

Dinner tonight is going to be kraut and kielbasa. One of those things we had frequently growing up. And I also got some Andouille today - going to make some red beans and rice later in the week. Mmmm.

And wait a minute - the Lions were stomping Washington earlier. Typical Detroit - take the fourth quarter off… At least they won!

Oi. So it must be you we’re getting the gale warning in New England from. :frowning:

I want to make it home in one piece without doing tumble rolls or cartwheels, por favor.
