My new laptop, just purchased in late July, decided to have an issue with the screen and had to go to get repaired today. Was told it will take up to 2 months before I get it back. Was so hoping to have it for the launch. At least I can still post in the forums on this old chromebook. Can’t wait for the repair to be finished and get back in to the game.
That seems… Excessive
It’s under warranty and the geek squad guy said they had to send it from Cali to Kentucky to get it repaired and they are backlogged by 6 to 8 weeks. Still faster than going through MSI to get it repaired. They wanted me to package the laptop and mail it to them and said it would take approximately 3 to 4 months before I would get it back.
Walking into it would be worse.

I’m… ugh…
Need hugs. Miss Moo had a horrible fever all of yesterday, and while she’s feeling better now, she’s still snuffly and clingy. And now I’m starting to feel ucky.

I’d just hook a monitor to the onboard video (as long as it has that), for now. Unless it’s a video card issue, then you’re stuck.
Hopefully it won’t take the whole two months!
And in hopefully good news - I have an interview tomorrow for an IT support position at a local hospital. ::crosses fingers::
