Yeah, it seems like the devs don’t want the effort made on all their new villagers to go to waste by people selecting their favorites from previous entries.
They have over 200 last I read.
i found out a method that one can do. if its early on enough, before placing the plots down for 3 additional houses, you can recruit villagers from random islands. otherwise, if you put a plot down, visit a random island to recruit a villager.
in either case, if you don’t find one you like, keep visiting random islands until you do. probably a good idea to save up on nook miles before doing this, as it can get costly.
not to mention, RNG has a tendency to send me to crappy islands. (I.E. native fruit, garbage island, bamboo island, etc)
Starting to think I might need to see someone to have this “growth” removed from my chest. It is about a foot long, has a black furry type outer covering, has sharp pointed “spines”, and seems to make noises as well (almost like a purr).
Stormageddon (Stormy for short) has been stuck to me like velcro the last couple of days. He will not leave my side for more than a few minutes.
