I hope you are safe. I’ve heard of uprisings around the country. I can see the fires and smell the smoke from my home. FYI, the footage of the looting you see at Cub Foods and Target is where we shop for groceries. The protesting did get to about 5 blocks away before the National Guard and police force turned them away.

Edit: a few hours later, I can see over a dozen fires around the city. Large plumes of smoke dominate the SE sky. Teuf, stay away from downtowns and stay safe (I just saw a torched Domino’s near the 3rd precinct)
i still remember the first time i ordered from them. they had a promotion going on, to hype up the Dark Knight when it was in theaters, and we ordered the pizza in question.
not only was it really late arriving, but it was burnt and not very warm at all. i don’t remember if we paid full price or not, but we never ordered from them again.
Yep, that was one of ours. As a result, The franchise left it to the discretion of individual stores whether to close early last night.
Apparently there were protests yesterday in W. St. Paul, which falls partially in our delivery area. Nothing like what’s going on in the downtowns, but I too could smell fires. Everything on Robert street was closed with heavy police patrols.
All three Cubs near me were closed (and less than a week after resuming 24-hour operations) with stacks of pallets barricading the entrances.
Hopefully history doesn’t repeat, but after the riots here in the 60s a lot of places that were damaged never reopened. We still have neighborhoods with no local food stores fifty years later. I have to drive out to the suburbs to buy my groceries.
i’m picturing you at a meatshop in Orgrimmar, getting select cuts of Kodo, Boar, Raptor, and various imported meats from the Barrens, and i can’t stop smiling at this.
got my macaroni supper on…the guild my alt(s) are in on Classic are having a party tonight. lots a prizes to be given away, so i’m looking forward to seeing what’s up for grabs here…especially if its gear upgrades or Mooncloth Bags…but ESPECIALLY if its gold.
I don’t even try. That way it’s a surprise each time I log into one. Not all the Rufflebottoms are Gnome mages. Some are Gnome warlocks. A few aren’t even Gnomes.
