The Lion King isn’t even Live Action really! Every character is animated.

Yeah, I honestly think they’re not remaking these for the younger crowd but for us older ones that liked and loved the original animated versions.
Not related but look at the remake of the muscle cars that came back, Mustangs, Camaros, Challengers, just to name a few, I bought a 2005 Mustang but it had an electrical short they could not nail down and so in 2010 (Actually August 2009) I bought another one loaded with the works, Still have it now and only a little over 37,000 miles on it.
My only wish is that I had kept all my original cars from my past; I’d have a good chunk of money now if I had.
Summary
Mom doesn’t have much longer, her blood pressure has dropped to 87/46 oddly her pulse is 83 and her oxygen is only 76 but there is no sign of blueness around her nails, her breathing has become shallow but rapid, I don’t think it will be much longer, She isn’t responding at all, Hospice dropped some swabs by today so I went and got some biotene to help keep her mouth moist and since she is unconscious now and can’t tell me if she is in pain I’m giving her the Morphine dose recommended every 3 hours as I promised her I would when she was coherent.

It would be cool to know how it all began before the machines took over and how Morpheus can to be, I mean who unlocked him from the machines you know? He had that socket on the base of the back of his head so how did it get taken off, Who nursed him back to health, So many unanswered questions concerning The Matrix.

My baba was that way towards the end she was a trooper and sounds like urs is as well. They say even if they dont respond they know ur there and will rember this and have the biggest hug and ty when u see her on the other side dont look at it as her dying just moving onto the next big adventure that she will have lots of stories to tell you share u the wonderful exp of heaven.

The video I watched made it sound like the licensing for the wild puffer is very serious. It gave the implication that a lot of people were seriously injured or died from it at some point in the past.
Especially the part about having a specific license for zero toxin preparation.

So with the live action remakes in the animated films, here is the deal.
The story is there. Disney owns it. So they don’t have to pay for rights or original scripts. They are not using anything from the animated so they don’t have to pay royalties to the actors, animators, etc from the original animated version.
In essence, by doing live action of their old movies, they essentially save a boat load of cash in the movie making process. For a title they know was successful.
Now, we know the stories. So they can spend less in advertising as well.
If I run across the article I read I will post it. But I just woke up. My knee is killing me. And it is going to be an extremely long day at work. So we will see what happens.

The other thing is that this helps them maintain the rights. You know how some things expire after 25 years if you don’t use them.

Well 45 minutes after my OP 7 hours ago my Mother passed away at around 1:45 AM EST.
The last 2 days before she became unconscious she would scream in agony when I would have to change her diaper because having to move her hurt her kidneys which were already hurting but much more when pressure was applied due to the diaper change.
So please anyone that has diabetes be sure to keep your kidneys in check and follow a good diabetic diet because what I saw was the worst painful death that I have witnessed.
Edit: PS: I’m exhausted; only 3 hours sleep over the last 3 days yet I can’t stop my mind from racing; It won’t let me rest, I haven’t had a drink in a long time but I’ve got to do something to get some sleep

You’re quite right; we always threw the puffers back due to this, There was one man that knew how to do it in our neighborhood but we all said no there’s too many other delicious fish to eat in our ocean and brackish waters.

TTX has been tracked down to fugu being fished from tainted waters.
You can eat farm raised fugu.
