Which is always funny to me, especially because that was back in Wrath when the vid was made, and that was a geared out DK…which were mini raid bosses. So killing one like that was nuts to me xD

I had never seen that video! That is great. I think people really really don’t understand that PvP servers are supposed to be literally the most unfair war mode chaos that exists. That was the POINT of them.
To do BWL there was literally a full on multi guild faction war for stone control every single raid night. It was epic. It was not “fair” but it was not supposed to be.
People wanted Classic back - and they got it with all the massive PvP farming, camping, guild/raid level take overs, etc. It has a certain “charm”. My main is a rogue to avoid it, but that is where my friends were so that is where I played. It does create a lot of unique memories.

Yep. He had to basically barely press any buttons otherwise he just wrecked them, which didn’t work for how the lyrics were supposed to go xD. Losing in the name of clicks.

Oh the nostalgia. I remember back in early 2005, when we didn’t know anything - just picked a realm to start playing - and we started on a PvP realm.
I was trying level on the beach in Stranglethorn (on my poor horde shaman), and get kept getting ganked. Belonged to a guild that had a max level rogue who’s passion was PvP. He was online, and came to rescue me. It was pure joy watching that group of 5-6 alliance bullies get annihilated by him.
I still detest PvP, mostly because I’m no good at it. But, used to occasionally dip a toe in a battleground.

I was gonna say, what are the people of the lounge going to do?! I was about to put some food out, whatever I could grab on short notice. 
I don’t think I would’ve had any glorious mugs, though!
Actually had a bit of a desire to fix eggs this morning, but just stuck with cereal. Raisin Bran is still pretty great.

I love this video. When I used to PvP more, it was on a human priest who looks a lot like the one in this video. Probably had the exact same gear at that level, too. Cranius has another PvP video called Big Blue Dress, in which the character is lamenting that he is stuck (before transmog!) wearing a robe when he’d rather wear pants. (It’s funny, but I wish he’d chosen different terms for his complaint, which would be mildly forum-inappropriate.)
The funniest part for me is watching the two videos together, because in my head, I PvP like the mage in Big Blue Dress, but in reality, I look a lot like the priest in Don’t Make Me Get My Main - not just physically, but in the amount of time spent face down.

I forgot: My other favorite thing about this video is the sequence where the DK is going from Northrend to Stranglethorn. It’s like a perfect little encapsulation of what transportation was like at that time. Hearth, run into the next building, portal, run to the flight point, take the flight, arrive, mount up on your ground mount, ride… To some extent it still is like that, though today I think most of us would fly ourselves direct from the SW mage tower.

I learned early on to keep a main (be that Kyzera or my Ally Hunter, Nyrze) in the same zone as my lowbies. Giving the enemy enough time to call for backup isn’t good, lol.

Well, took down Zekvir on ?? Tier solo.
Actually a real fun fight, you kinda get into a rhythm with it. At least until he wants to RNG you down or Brann doesn’t want to throw his potions, which I desperately need because Zekvir can punch me dead in 3-4 hits.
Hoping future Delve bosses are much like this in the future, really a fun challenge.
