RANT TIME. My mom has been back to the hospital as the pain meds they gave her until her Cat scan were not working. She is not sleeping at night at all and is in constant pain. The doctor she seen tonight thinks it is not kidney stones but rather back pain. He told her to stop the prescription pain meds and to just take extra strength Tylenol. The pain meds have increased risk of doing more harm. He has also referred her for Physio. He also said for her not to go for her Cat scan when she get the appointment.
3 doctors in less than a week and no official diagnosis. I have told mom to call her family doctor Monday and make an appointment to sit down and discuss the blood work results, the Xrays, and whether she needs to go for the Cat Scan. All I want is to find out what is really wrong and how we work toward fixing it.
kinda surprised Blizz hasn’t made this a perma fixture really. eh, i’m sure they have their reasons. .-.
Hunter is at lvl 64 now…half way to 65, then i can tame a Corehound. if i’m gonna boost her, it would have to be sooner, rather than later. i’d like to at least get something out of it, cause it’s not cheap. ._.
i’ve yet to see Sylvanas in Classic, and i’ve been meaning to do that…but i’ve been putting it off constantly. xP
Well, the stores here are putting out Christmas stuff for sale and some tv channels have started or will be starting Christmas movies 24/7 until next year. I love Christmas time but that’s too early for me.
I got my Nightborne to Legion. Not much to go until I get that heritage armor. Relaxing with some NCIS tonight before bed. Have a good night/good morning guys.

i’m almost afraid to see Walmart at this time, cause the Seasonal dept will likely have all the Halloween stuff and costumes replaced with Christmas stuff, but that’d be too much, even for them.
i’ve always said, it’s best to wait until after Nov 11th, THEN you can play Christmas music or movies…though Americans tend to do that after their Thanksgiving, which is also just as good.

edit: Hunter now at lvl 65, and she’s got her Core Hound pet…which is what wowhead recommended for BM Hunters leveling or soloing content…so…yeah.
Here there’s still lots of Halloween stuff at Walmart. The Garden Department is just stuffed with Christmas stuff like fake trees, inflatable snowmen and tons of lights. The day after Halloween, all the trick or treat candy will be moved to discount bins and the shelves will start being stocked with Christmas candy.
We always waited until December to put our tree up. December was a solid month of Christmas for us when I was a kid. Now the tree doesn’t go up until two weeks before and that is about all the decorating we do.
that’s usually how it’s always been for everywhere really. Halloween candy doesn’t go on clearance until Nov 1st. and just like clockwork every year, people typically wait until Oct 31st to buy Halloween stuff, thinking it’ll be on sale, yet it’s not.
we’ve always put the tree up during the Christmas Daddies telethon (ruffle should know this. ) and it was typically kept up until just after New Years. my mother (bless her soul) always went overboard with the decorating, like she’d make the place look beyond amazing…i could never do that. then again, decorating has never really been something i liked…though i’ve always enjoyed how it looked afterwards. .-.

got mine in 2009 myself. needless to say, my cousin who used to play WoW wasn’t too pleased that i got it on my first run of the Headless Horseman…considering he was farming it when it was first introduced, and it dropped off the Horseman, rather than having a chance of being in a loot bag, you get once per day.
but honestly? i’d give it up for Invincible if i could…there’s a few others i’d love to get, but don’t see myself ever getting…mostly due to it’s insanely low drop rates, or the fact that it’s going for a couple thousand dollars (loot cards from the TCG on ebay) or a couple million gold on the AH (if it ever pops up that is)

i’ve also attempted to solo Heroic ICC-25 and while i’ve succeeded in the past, it’s also glitched on me a few times, and i haven’t tried it since.
I loved the tier set from ICC but could never get the gear to stick in gear tab every time even after the 2hr window if i sold it id lose the apearance.
My BM Hunters really like using a Clefthoof to solo tank for them. The Clefthoof family has the Blood of the Rhino exotic ability that gives them +10% armor & +20% bonus to healing.
Plus, they also have the Primal Rage ability just like the Core Hound, since they are also Ferocity spec.
60,000 gold for leather gear…and i’m a Hunter. ;-; don’t know if i ever want to risk buying those containers ever again, even if it COULD contain a rare mount/pet i’ve always wanted…unless i’m sitting on hundreds of thousands of gold across multiple characters that is, but that’ll never happen.
@Ky-yeah, that’s another pet they mentioned too. i may consider putting a pet into the stables and trying a Clefthoof as well, get a feel for it and see how i do.
i remember when i first saw the Grimoire of the Four Winds on the BMAH. i placed a bid on it…only to be outbidded within a few mins, so i go back to see…and the price went from around 3500 to nearly 350k. @_@
i guess it heavily depends on the server too, but the Underbelly-Broken Isles on Duskwood almost always has the guards off duty…it’s mostly the reason i’ve never bothered with the BMAH there.
meanwhile on an RP server, the guards are on duty constantly, allowing me to check things out at my own pace. it also doesn’t help when there’s someone logged out by the guard captain, ready to turn the guards back off, or players sitting at gold cap across multiple characters, ready to outbid anyone and everyone on anything and everything the BMAH has to offer…though i imagine they’re waiting for high ticket items.
speaking of which…i saw a Core Hound Chain on the AH for around 600k.

If you are lucky enough to get the garrison mission that puts the BMAH display in your garrison you can look from safety. You can’t bid there, but you can look.
There’s a quest in Mechagon that gives you 20 items to allow you to call the BMAH anywhere. And you can bid with it. So if you like last-minute sniping, you can bid right next to a mail box.
