Such an unproductive day. I binged seasons 1 and 2 of Barry (on my son’s recommendation), as well as the first four episodes of Chernobyl. Barry was… alright; seems a poor copy of Dexter. Chernobyl is good enough to keep the HBO subscription active through the conclusion.

Does anyone make ones that are durable for play fighting?
I somehow injured my right toe this past weekend, it just hurts, doesn’t feel like it’s broken.
Off for the next two days. Feels good man. Went to HR and asked for a raise, told them I had to ask for more than the standard as I have been working short staffed for the last year, no complaints just suck it up and get it done. The HR rep asked me to name what I wanted, and I threw a number out. Not a lot, I am not greedy, but it is more than double the standard formula raise they give. She said she thinks that is doable and will fight on my behalf for it.
Renewed the registration on my cars. I am still in shock how not expensive it is here vs when I lived in California.
Dog started going ballistic when I got home. I can open my garage door from about a block away, so typically I will press the button about when I can pull into the garage without stopping to wait. Got out of the car and he was just barking…big black lab letting loose, and he is not a barker. I almost got knocked over he was so happy I was home. My son is now taking him for a walk to get rid of some of that energy while the other plays some Breath of the Wild. Listen and not whine while your brother watches you while I am at work will get you a reward haha
Other one just sat on the computer watching a new anime that was recommended to him on funimation.

So when I went to HR, they sent an email to my boss and to the head of all the administrators, basically number 2 in command of all the company.
My boss responded with everything I do, how I always come in if called to cover, working short, picking up the slack myself and not complaining, how she can always count on me for whatever it is she needs done, it does not matter.
Email came back saying I will approve it from her. So yeah, I am glad it does not go unnoticed, and that my boss had my back. My boss called to tell me about the email haha, not knowing HR had already called me saying it was approved.
This is why I would walk across fire for my boss btw. She is amazing, and always has our backs.

Today was my first physical therapy session without pain. And I got to use several of the exercise machines which was fun.

My first dog at age 10 was a Black Lab, He was smart and very easy to train, Had a lot of games that I taught him to play, Labs are awesome imo.
Have you seen the movie named “Marley & Me”, (About A Yellow Lab) Starring Owen Wilson and Jennifer Aniston? If not I highly recommend it!

Hope you all having a great night. Going golfing tomorrow morning at 9:30am. Also supposed to get really hot up here in B.C., Canada this week. Supposed to hit 31 Degrees Celsius (or 87.8 Degrees Fahrenheit for those in the U.S.) here tomorrow.
