happy thanksgiving and be gratefull ur not living thru the great non covid tp shortage lol places are running outa tp due to BC storm and the one hitting the east coast.

I just don’t understand the run on TP during moments of crisis. As if a virus or a storm will suddenly cause all of it to not be available. Same thing with food and water though, people don’t just “stock up”, they go overboard.

Wasnt so much panic buying most of our tp came from BC or east and were having supply issue. I dont get the panic buying either we only ran out because of people panic buying not because of the virus.

Do like I did during the pandemic, I got a few washcloths for everyone and told them to sanitize after use, Worked like a charm and a cleaner behind to boot.

Oh and just to let everyone know the Turkey brine solution I posted yesterday made the meat so moist and favorable, Best Turkey I have ever cooked.

Also all day today they have been playing Andy Griffith on TVLand, Brings back many memories of my childhood.

Any prognosis on your Son-In-Laws leg? I hope & pray that they were able to put it back in place and secure it without problems.

Just got home from seeing Ghostbusters. Figured time to start new traditions so saw a movie i really really wanted to see.

I RARELY go to movies as i would rather not spend obscene :moneybag: Turns out going alone is a lot less expensive.

I really enjoyed the flick. Payed great omage to its namesake. Hit the nostalgia strings.

I’m taking my sister to see that next week, I have heard nothing but good things about that movie, Thanks for sharing!

Thank you.

He was released from the hospital today and is in an immobilizer on his leg. He cannot put any weight on that leg for a minimum of 6 weeks. The possibility of surgery is still not off the table should it worsen. Needless to say he is down for the count for quite a while now. But at least he has a nurse to tend to him when she is not at work, lol.

Glad to hear, Now to keep him off it so it will heal properly.

That was my problem, I had no one here to help, My late Mom was incapacitated and my sister too could not help so that left only me to do the running to the stores for groceries, cooking, caring for Mom etc. I have no doubt that is why I had to have the second surgery that cost me another $10,000.00 in deductible on my insurance.

Be sure to let him know that it is crucial that he stays off it for the first 6 week period.

glad to hear he’s doing ok Kyzera. i still remember fracturing my wrist, though thankfully it was my left and not my right, otherwise i’d be in dire straits.

yeah, its not cheap going to the movies. i used to redeem points for tickets, then just buy some popcorn, a pack of seasoning for it and a drink…which came to just under $20 at least.

haven’t been to the movies since Endgame to be honest. nothing’s really come out that’s caught my attention too much now. course i figure i can always wait and watch it in the comfort of my home.

i’m able to pause when i need to answer the call of the wild, i don’t have to worry about the loud volume or rude people…

@Darth-i’d sooner trust Sailor Venus as my nurse than Stimpy. :stuck_out_tongue:
