I would prefer to run on my other toons for a while, but there is a pet I want to tame that can show up on some of the Islands this week.

I’m not listening. It’s bad enough I’ve spent the last week getting doubles of the pets in Northrend and Pandaria. I don’t want to be doing Islands too.

I was all excited when Reins of the Drake of the North Wind dropped. Then I realized it was on my EU account. Nice to have, but my NA account has my big collection and is missing that one.

i doubt i can bother with taming pets any more. got burned out fairly quickly with that. x_x
all the more reason to farm on your NA account then. 
i doubt i can ever go back to ACNH. you eventually run out of things to do, and if you lack creativity, you can only do so much with your island. :\
but i hope those who’re still playing it, enjoy it to the fullest none the less.

I had a mount drop on my main account from that boss during time-walking. I was so excited. Then I noticed it was the Timewalking Drake, not the dungeon one that I wanted.
If I’m going to bang my head trying to get a rare mount, it will be Ashes of Al’ar not Drake of the North Wind.

i still remember when that dropped for me. think it was the first time walking dungeon i ever ran. Magister’s Terrace during BC Timewalking. dropped from the very first boss we fought.
didn’t know what it was at first, till every one kept congratulating me, and saying how they’re “still trying to get that to drop”. then realized THIS is the mount people were raging over on the forums. 
i’ve given up on Ashes. TK was too much of a hassle for me, getting spam-stunlocked for 2 mins straight, while i’m pinballed around the room. 
i don’t mind i’ve got a phoenix mount in another game that looks beautiful honestly.

It is becoming a little disheartening. I have yet to see the rare spawn with all the runs I have been doing. This particular pet appearance is only available on that pet, otherwise wouldn’t worry about it. But will just keep spamming the Islands til I see it spawn.

All my hunters have the Pink Elekk. I am happy.

All of mine, save for that poor level 20 on EU, got their Pink Elekk. She made it to the stairs leading down to the Manufactory and I ran out of time to work on getting her further than that. Honestly, only so many times you can die in there before it just becomes way too painful to bear.
I will work on getting her better geared and try again next year.
