The second line of weather just finished pushing through here. We got some heavy rain and some lightning, but to the southwest of us there was a “spotter verified tornado.” A bit worrisome, but not too much; there’s a 200’ cliff just to the west of town along the Missouri River that (in my mind) should break up anything too severe.
The company that moved me down here chose my city because there haven’t been any tornadoes hit town in well over 50 years. So it should be pretty safe. Not to say I won’t take it seriously…
I live in the Okanagan Valley east of Vancouver, BC, and the bomb cyclone is hitting us now too. We have seen close to 100mm of rain in the past hour and highways are now shutdown by the RCMP here.
Getting some serious flash flooding here too as I just got home from work. Our parking lot at work as about 5cm of water on the ground as the storm drains are already backed up.
Also now under a severe weather warning here with high winds expected and close to another 200mm of rain expected by tomorrow night.
At least the rain will subside after this for a few days. But we do need this cause where I live we are in Stage 5 drought conditions.
So i took my grandpa out for lunch he likes chinese food so we went for chinese theres this town call sherwood park near edmonton alberta i had on good information the walmart there will get ps5 and dont sell them for a week mostly because no one shops there.
Was i luck nope called both locations and london drugs and struck out lol. The london drugs said they had 15 calls about the same thing lol.
I’ve had two calls today saying a Macbook Pro and some earbuds have been ordered on my Amazon account. A - Amazon doesn’t have that phone number. B - There’s NO way my debit card would handle one Macbook, much less two.
I mean, I definitely checked my Amazon account to make sure, but was unsurprised to see that I was not getting two Macbooks. Definitely disappointed…
Funny story were playing telestrations basicly phone tag but u try to draw what was written down and the word was field goal well one of the pictures was a soccer goal technicaly he was right depending on who u asked but it was the football field goal.
