I never understand why people don’t like snow. Covers up all the mud, and as long as you don’t do anything stupid, driving in it isn’t all that hard.

Grrr… The bank I’ve used for nearly 30 years (Bank A) has been bought by another, presumably bigger bank (Bank B). I was initially led to believe that absolutely nothing would change. Then I started getting information packets in the mail, describing all the changes that were coming, but that, somehow, nothing would change. Last week, I received a new Bank B debit card in the mail, with instructions to activate it on or after October 12, after which I should destroy my old Bank A card.
I just tried to log into my account to pay my mortgage and realized this is the big transition weekend. All Bank A branches are closed until Monday, when they re-open as Bank B branches. Digital banking, online and app-based, is unavailable until Monday morning. ATMs are unaffected.
Gah… Just realized my account and routing numbers are going to change effective (you guessed it) Monday morning. Now I have to try to remember which bills and subscriptions are automatically paid from my bank account so I can update them. On the upside this could be a convenient out for that gym membership I’ve used exactly twice in 7 years.

Ugh…
Looking at things after my bout wit Covid last December, I realized it did quite a bit of damage to me, mentally. It’s almost been a year and I’m still cleaning up the mess it left me. I need to do a serious purge… and start from zero.

Same, but I think the new bank will take the old checks, even with new account and routing numbers. Mine was confusing, because one thing said the 12th, the card the 14th. I just got a new box of checks though, so sympathize.

I’m so full from dinner still. Tomorrow is Turkey-day 2.0 where we’re doing it all over again! Thankfully, I haven’t had to be the one cooking, so I’m able to sit back and relax a little more than normal

Gobble gobble we may not look like a turkey but well be stuffed like a turkey if u need me ill be sleeping in the upper turrent of the pillow fort and yes it does have turrents still trying to get a permit for a dungeon.

Woke up and the knot in my ribs i had for the last week finally seemed to release some. It ha dmigrated over to by my spine, which made inhale and exhale painful. I hope the pain is not just sleeping atm and is finally going away.
In other news my 9ers play the only undefeated team in the league today.
