[CS Lounge] Aik's Popcorn Party for all!

There’s some Cata content that I really enjoy: Stonecore, Vortex Pinnacle, Hyjal, the Egypt half of Uldum (the Indiana Jones half was obnoxious), and Twilight Highlands. My big issues with it were endgame; the only relevant endgame content in 4.3 was three heroics and Dragon soul, which got old fast.

While I feel that MOP faltered in the latter half with more than a year of Timeless Isle (which I hated) and Siege of Orgrimmar (which was ugly except for the first wing), having soloable endgame content through the entire expansion that remained relevant was nice.

WOD, I feel, went too far in removing the daily outdoor content after the criticism of MOP’s dailies.

I’m more positive on Cata. For some reason, I love Vash’jir though I certainly see why some people did not.

As for MoP, no one will ever stop me from maxing out Sunsong Ranch and I enjoy unlocking all the Klaxxi. Truly sick of Jade Forest, and Kun-Lai is just blah to me.

Vash was the only zone i enjoyed now that we can pick and choose which expansion to lvl i do MOP.

I really should finish the Dread Wastes at some point.

Perhaps I will work on some toons with this leveling buff just to have them completed. I actually logged in for raid last night, but we had members a plenty so I got the bench as I have barely been on in 3 weeks and logged back out haha

I have a lock and a warrior in progress I could probably bang out, and perhaps create a DK? I dunno. We shall see. Still not all that motivated.

i never did like Cata and Warlords all that much. Mists was alright…though i didn’t like Sunsong Ranch (sorry Melaesia) and how often i had blasted Virmen and Hawks to deal with.

i didn’t get to do a lot of Legion when it was current, due to taking a year off, and missing out on the start of BfA also didn’t help at all…but like i said, i find the leveling experience in Standard to be too easy now. no sense in joining a guild or taking up professions, and people getting extremely hostile towards you for questing gets really hard to deal with. ._.

so for now, i’m just sticking with Classic…least people there are a lil more willing to help you out or throw you a bone, without treating you like a doormat.

I loved Cata, and especially Vashj’ir.

Mists of Pandaria contains my all time favorite quest " Crouching Carrot, Hidden Turnip".

I did Vash’jir on my main because everyone was doing Mount Hyjal. The 3-D maneuvering gave me some issues, but since flying is everywhere now it’s not as challenging.

I’ve done this on almost all my characters. Pandaren cooking completed on only a couple of characters though. It’s great for farming Motes of Harmony.

I’m a bit iffy on this. I think I’ve only done it on three or four characters.

Yes. Both factions. Plus one of the Horde camps is hostile until you make friends with them. If you boost a character you get the flight point. Fly in and you are attacked immediately by the flight master. Some of the guards are elites as well.

I wasn’t that fond of it when we couldn’t fly there. Now it’s not so bad.

It’s no so bad if you do it at level 100 or higher. They die pretty fast. I leave them till the end and do them all at once.

I think I might be doing WoD for leveling once the level-squish goes through. I didn’t mind the quests there. Also, there will be fewer players likely choosing that so more chances to actually get the quest mobs.

may have to brave the outside world tomorrow after all. running dangerously low on absolute essentials, and its extremely unlikely i can manage without it till next week. .-.

my own fault for constantly forgetting them too.

I feel that way about MoP. I quit with this gal only having gained 1 level and no other alts over 80. Just couldn’t stand it. When I came back to try Legion, I boosted this gal and (surprisingly) loved going back and doing WoD content that everyone griped about, but my reaction to Pandaria was on the edge of PTSD.

I think I got sent there twice - for shaman? weapon and for fishing thing from WoD. Both times, I was so tense and livid and desperate to be done, I swore I’d never go back.

All my 80 and lower alts that I leveled stayed in Cata zones until they could do the WoD entry quest. And then stayed in Draenor as long as possible - some didn’t go to Legion content until 102 because after two times through, I didn’t want to go there again either. (Not the same reaction as MoP though, just something about how cramped those zones felt was icky.)

We (my brother and I) are doing fine so far EXCEPT there’s just no way to buy bulk amounts of milk. Too much and it will go bad before it is used. (No interest in milk substitutes, though I may look for powdered milk for cooking that can use fat-free without too much issue.)

MoP was so easy for leveling back in the day. Just killing rares and finding all the treasures would easily get me from 85-90 in just a few hours. Kyzera did all the quests and my alts have a smattering here and there. Most of them just did the rares & treasures and moved on to something else.

MoP was my favorite expansion thus far. It was my first expansion launch ( I started playing in NOV 2011 ). I did the beta for it and even got a Realm First (Cooking) on launch day.

I enjoyed Timeless Isle and Isle of Thunder (loved how we unlocked it). Also, the aesthetics & lore of Pandaria were just so great.

Cata was when the game wore out it’s welcome. That’s when I started to see people on my server burn out.

This new buff is great. I’ve got from just into 113 to half way through 116. And if I bother to upgrade my heirlooms, I can go even faster.

can’t sleep, so i figured i’d give this buff a try and see what it’s like.

my original plan, was to boost my Tauren Hunter and do the Horde side of the story for BfA and get the Two Sides achievement…though if i can hit lvl 120 without it, it’ll save me at least $75 in the process.

think he was in the low 30’s last i checked. he’s close to 40 now. and that’s just from running a few dungeons.

I got from 89 to 96 pretty quickly. Around two hours, I think. That includes the flight to the base in Ashran and the questline there. Very nice.

It’s soooo cute and appropriate for a warlock or shadow priest.
