Waiting on the bomb cyclone to hit Michigan late tonight and all day Sunday. DTE is on alert for power outages. Have to run out for the power failure staples. Milk, bread, eggs, beer, wine and potato chips.

Chips… most certainly if they are fresh off of the Better Made conveyor belt on Gratiot. I used to stop weekly there back in the day.

Not a fan of it myself, but my wife certainly loves the Vernors.

Just a note for ya, the first wave of the snow was not very impressive. Waiting on the follow-up tonight. Then, the cold again.

Never understood the concept of stocking up on milk and eggs in case the power went out. Get some peanut butter and jelly for that bread.

If it’s a vitamin thing, buy some Flintstone chewables and call it good.

Also you need a gas stove. Boil water and pour it thru the coffee maker. You can’t use the oven, but the burners work with a match.

Wind warning for tomorrow I mean, at least it’s not an ice storm, or snow storm…but 60+mph winds. Possible power outages, shingles flying around…anything not nailed down flying around!

Time to get out the ruby slipper!
