Check in Device Manager and see what the date of the driver is (assuming you’re using Intel Iris graphics. If it’s 9/25/19, hit roll back driver. This particular driver has given me issues (identical to what was happening on MacOS), but rolling the driver back has worked. It’s likely that when Apple ported the driver to MacOS this bug crossed over.

Can you farm without crashing?
I tried running a normal Ny’alotha but it crash on boss and stuttered bad on trash. After the first two bosses I had to give up. I never had any issues prior to 8.3 and I have already tried setting my graphics to the lowest level with no luck. Anyone know if this is something that will be fixed soon?

For those still having issues on their mac i’d highly recommend the earlier work around posted (i don’t remember by whom); make a partition and play on windows using bootcamp. Jumped right to it when i read the post and haven’t had a single problem, it even plays better (no 10 minute load time into Boralus, or waiting another 5 minutes for visuals to load after it finished loading.)

Same, crashing on MacBook Pro 2015 post 8.3. It’ll freeze with rainbow spinning wheel for 5-10 seconds. There’s a few occasions where it actually hard crashes my computer, as in, spinning wheel for about 2 minutes, then system restart. The way the computer restarts on a hard reboot seems like it might actually be doing damage to my computer. I have almost 500G of free disk space so that shouldn’t be an issue. I’m not playing WoW until this is resolved.

I’ve literally never died so many times in my WoW life thanks to this freezing garbage since the patch dropped. Ridiculous!!
Had 15 mins to finish 4 quests for the vulp invasion quest. Nope, jj. Crashed for most of those 15 mins.
