I thought Druids can use swords so I used my only Concentrated Primal Infusion and crafted a sword. I submitted a ticket and got an automated response. The ticket was closed and I wasn’t helped at all. What can I do in this case?
I’ve worked so hard on this Concentrated Primal Infusion and don’t want to be set back so hard just because of a mistake. Also, I don’t believe players should be set back so hard…
GM’s/Blizz are pretty hands off when it comes to crafting gear etc. Tickets times as high as they are alot of generic topic tickets will get some links to wowhead/policies and closed with a message if your issue persists to reopen the ticket/submit a new ticket and reference the first one.
There is an onus on the player to do some research before crafting something, especially if its a BOP item. You can try resubmitting a ticket (there are no GM’s on the forums, just SFA’s) but just set your expectations that its not something they normally do and it will be an exception if its something they consider
Unfortunately you may be out of luck. Only in the most extreme of circumstances are items that are used for crafting purposes recovered. You got what you crafted, even if it was done in error.
Best you can do is treat it as a painful learning experience. I know this isn’t exactly an answer you’re looking for, but it’s highly unlikely a GM will budge on this.
Generally. The Spark of Ingenuity is a bit special though. If reported very soon after making the error, along with some other criteria, we may be able to help.
If you received the automatic reply, which it appears you have, submitting another ticket is the way to go… as you already have.
Wish I had known that earlier this week when I crafted shoulders with embelishments using a spark only to discover I already had two items with embelishments and they are unique equipped. Had written that off as a tough lesson.
Hah it kind of worked out in the end - was able to replace boots with a slightly lower ilevel and equip the shoulders to still gain overall ilevel and take advantage of the shoulders embelishment and suited stats. I’ll take that as a win
@Nephe You can recraft an item with https://www.wowhead.com/item=203652/griftahs-all-purpose-embellishing-powder to remove the embellishment too if need be, if you already have two embellished items. Or just right-click-remove the embellishment at recraft. Depending on the items/embellishments of course. Sorry if this doesn’t apply because you have one of those natively-embellished items.
My first ticket was automated closed. I created my first ticket within 3 minutes of the issue. A GM responded today and was told literally “We can’t do anything.” Yet in this exact same situation, you are saying it can be fixed since they are limited. Can you help me out?
