you really need to stop trolling. first your hearthstone thread and now this.
What are you on about? BiS doesn’t mean 639, it’s based on throughput&survivability.
We have no choice vaults broken this season, months with no decent mythic piece its soul crushing, basically craft or quit.
Do you put bad trinkets on just because they are higher ilvl? Who cares if its 636 or 639. Ur dps is all that matters.
No one uses crafted trinkets.
it is for some with embelishments but thats not the point.
the point is the difference between the bis pieces and not bis being so marginal at 630+ op wouldnt even notice it. its not like anyone here is pulling 95+ % of their sim dps anyway so nbd tbh. complaint is kinda null
Yeah i know. Not what i said though lol.
Are you seriously complaining about the damage we are missing due to 3 items levels in 2 slots?
Before you worry about the few item levels, why don’t you get 639 gear in all other slots first? You couldn’t, because loot is RNG.
So, rather than be unhappy about the slightly lower item level of crafted gear, you should be happy that you at least don’t have to worry about praying for RNG loot in 2 of the slots.
If crafted gear didn’t exist and you had bad RNG, your current item level could have been even lower.
Hang on. So someone who puts in the same time and effort, who grinds the same high end content as others and maybe got unlucky with drops or it went to other folks…They didn’t ‘earn’ that Ilvl?
Enchanted Crests don’t just appear. You have to earn them and you can have only two crafted items besides. The main benefit is that you get to choose the statline and an embellishment of your choosing.
There have been many instances where crafted gear has not only been better, it’s been required. Running Naxx without Ice Resistance was asking for a lot of trouble.
I don’t know, your take isn’t making much sense to me. Sure, swap it for a 369 if the stars align and you get one, but crafted items are there for a reason.
No what i’m complaning is that I actually COULD get closer to 639, because i DO have 639 gear in my bags. But i can’t wear it
how about upgrading your 623 ring?
okay i genuinely didn’t even notice that - thank you <3
Correct. And you get more out of it at 639 than you do at 636
Crafted gear is BiS early, but not overall
I think they are literally just upset that crafted gear isnt 639.
The only way 3 crafted items is recommended is if somehow one of your secondary is so over the top good and none of the gear in the season drops that as its top stat. That’s mostly for rings/neck.
Engi bracers can be good
Why not? There were pre-raid BIS crafted pieces from the very first raid tier of Vanilla WoW. Crafting is a part of this game, and for a lot of people, crafting is their favorite piece of the gameplay.
Back at the start, if you wanted that BoP crafted item, you had to level the profession and make it yourself, which meant you couldn’t be an engineer or an alchemist. Nope. You had to be a tailor or a blacksmith or a leatherworker, and you had to devote hours to it yourself if you wanted that BiS item.
Now, we can let someone else make it for us. That’s huge, and all the griping about crafting usually fails to note and give credit for that.
There are alternative gear pieces you can get from various places now that come close, so we have lots of choice in gearing. You don’t have to get the crafted BiS item in most cases anymore.
We have more quantity in gearing options now. We have more choice in how we obtain the gear. We have multiple paths of gameplay/difficulty for raising our item level once we get the gear. We can do it solo or through dungeons or through raid logging…or we can do a little of this and a little of that.
If you don’t want to get a crafted piece, get something else off the A-tier and just let it go.
I don’t know enough about them to give an opinion, but seeing they’re bracers, don’t think they matter that much.
Their secondary stat budget is put towards one stat vs split between 2.
this is not an ironclad rule for many people. 636 haste/vers bracers are better for my outlaw rogue than 639 crit/mastery, even without an embellishment.
