Makes for a lot of funny Karen compilations though.
I salute the retail and service workers who have to deal with such utter bs.

I worked in retail when I was younger. You realize how nasty ppl are.
And then they demand that the government they hate so much fixes it.
Just look at all the “keep the government’s hands off my medicare” nonsense from a few years ago. I mean, really…
places Nadetta on a watch list
Go on.
Where are my nachos? Only then, I might talk.
I worked private security for 7 years and as a zookeeper for 3 before that, trust me, I know and I feel you!
I never want to work with the public again rofl
We had a case here in FL two years ago…Motorcyclist killed in a head on crash with a car…dead on the scene…they listed his death as from Covid…it was like a week or so later they finally changed it but come on now dead from Covid after running head long into a car…its things like that that make you go hmmmm.
Fortunately, people tend not to go outside when they are violently ill.
Yes but the occasional good customer renews your faith in Humanity
Not in this thread. Maybe in the goofier ones later in the evening.
It’s funny when you get real information vs what the news tells ppl.
You said we don’t need to wear masks to prevent the cold/flu/etc waves we get every year, but I personally think we should have been, just like countries like Japan did and are still doing.
If anything COVID has made mask use more common in America than it was before which is a win for me. Before COVID the only people I knew who would wear masks during cold and flu season were my Asian friends, and I wish more people were doing it sooner.
Depends on the mask, mostly. Some are built for full on medical protection. Others are designed for more casual circumstances.
Basically, if you blew air into your mask or breathed heavily to test it, and nothing could be felt on the other side, then it was a decent choice. At one point, something was better than nothing though. It might not have helped the person wearing it, but it might have spared some people of the contact.
I know I wore one religiously for the better part of a year, but eventually I decided to just drop it as restrictions began to really ease up. Doctor offices and hospitals though largely require them still, so I always bring mine along for those types of visits.
Also, LOL at the science cult comment(s) above. That’s all I have to say on that.
trust your DR and your Family … what a concept! It did work for thousands of years
Cause hospitals were getting $$$ for each covid death. Lots of inflated numbers because of that.
Unfortunately a lot of them are dead now.
The running joke of;
“Yes your honor my client shot the victim in the head. BUT the death certificate said the cause of death was COVID.”
Like my 89 year old Dad says " follow the Money"
True, but there were still not huge amounts of people turning up dead in their homes ( hundreds or even a couple thousand is a VERY small percentage of the total population in most areas and not much higher than unreported deaths from any other cause).
Trust my doctor? I had a nurse practitioner AND a doctor misdiagnose me.
And family, heh. Sorry Charlie.
