You just have confirmation bias, you would instantly agree with anyone saying they’re lying no matter what they said. And anyone who has been a part of the WoW community long enough would have seen these responses a mile away. People had 6 hour queues in FFXIV and accepted Yoshida’s apology that they can’t just snap their fingers and make it go away but I suppose that’s what Blizzard deserves for “burning bridges” with the community even at the expense of some lowly dev just saying how it is
You’re right. Agreed here.
I made many posts about pop issues/ merging in classic and classic plus and both times I quit I left it as a reason.
Nothing was done, I move to grob.
If blizzard connect any of my low pop realms to other low pop realms I wouldn’t be on grob.
Apathy is approval.
Regardless, you’re a CC member; it’s not your own viewpoints that you represent, it’s the community’s.
Vast majority do want RDF.
Vast majority do not like item level squishes.
Etc.
Yes, I think I remember you. Some of us really tried.
Blizzard caused these issues by neglect back then and allowing people to all merge to an over populated realm.
Worst part is they charged for it.
Thank you, you put into words what I’ve been trying to say the whole time.
Did blizzard screw up classic massively? Yes, many times.
Are they doing the right things now to fix the issues they caused in the first place? Yes, mostly. Screaming at them is just gonna make them not care.
Doing the right thing in hindsight isnt always that great. Its called damage control.
Well, more people are aware of the issue of automated mute because of the streamers so it made sense to include it in my post. I could have brought up the season 3 rewards fiasco or mentioned RMT to point out the issues that indicates a lack of resources spent on said issues.
No crap, would you rather them just burn the whole thing down instead?
No i rather they learn instead of just repeating mistake after mistake.
Ok, fair enough.
Well they are making attempts to fix it now. Blizzard is incompetant, I 100% agree. But the blue’s post and the steps they’re taking to resolve it are completely reasonable. Crying about it even more and abusing a community position to “hold them accountable” after they already agreed they messed up helps how again? How is this gonna fix anything?
Sounds like a simple minded and lazy half thought on your part.
You know what Yoshida did when queues sprung up? They capped the servers, lead designer apologized, and gave free game time.
So dont bring up FFXIV because you didnt do anything to further your argument. I know for a fact, just as the community manage does (does he have confirmation bias too?), that bliz could have done more to easy the queues.
“Hey Blizzard, get me on the council I will cover for your lies and sell my integrity to lie for the flashy cool color on the forums”.
Because they didnt really fix anything. They are asking the playerbase to fix it.
That’s what it all comes down to. Blizzard themselves have encouraged burnt out players to take their breaks as needed.
when the bootlicker turns on the very boots he vowed to lick
how manful and brave of you
Do you think Blizzard can just “make the servers better” or not because that’s the point of the thread, FFXIV couldn’t do it they had to lock the servers and offer transfers like WoW.
People have spent the past 2 weeks obsessively complaining about it on the forums and adamant it would be an easy fix, so when a dev comes forward and says they can’t do anything more (except keep begging for tranfers) without ruining the stability of the server because of the raw size…do you think those aforementioned forum players who have been dedicated so much time to saying it would be an easy hardware fix, would just go Ah yes true…? Of course not. I can guarantee yellow boy swore up and down they could fix it easy and when a dev indirectly called him a armchair engineer he got offended. We’re only human I’m sure all parties involved think they’re telling the truth.
