I wouldn’t be surprised if the prepatch hit on Oct. 26 and Blizzard billed it as the prepatch being the true start of Shadowlands. Would that end in an epic crapfest? Oh you bet ya it would. But with all the controversies Blizz has been involved in within the past few years would it really surprise anyone?
a good solid healthy poop is so satisfying
that would be wholly impossible, they’ve already released the raid/m+/pvp schedule
And it would be extremely bad pr to change the release of the expansion at all at this point.
Welp, I was wrong.
All signs were posting to the 29th: the post Monday, a slew of “what’s coming” posts all reminded me of go live’s I’ve done, and Blizzard go lives in the past.
So, yeah, the 6th unless they really break tradition and do an announcement Monday with a release before Friday. Not very likely at all.
I wouldn’t be at all surprised if missing the 29th has a lot to do with the problems on Khadgar.
Imagine the greatness you all could have achieved if you theorized in game as much as you do about pre patch.
Seriously, it will get here when it gets here.
We’re bored, and BG3 just got delayed so i have nothing to do atm lol
Could be, or there are other issues if they did another PTR build.
I was told there would be no math.
The 29th - the 6th = mcsquared but then khadgar is in trouble so idk. khadgar + 29th + 6th = mcsquared2.
That’s all I’ve read throughout this whole post.
This, from memory the first week of BFA I had to do the main story in all 3 zones, the 3 dungeon quests and initial parts of each war campaign to get to 120.
Edit: Quoted the right person, but wrong post.
If you’re doing it without warmode on you could easily end up that way.
He told people skip the side quests in the first 2 zones because you will literally outlevel them and get 1000 xp a quest.
XP nosedives after that and even doing everything people are being left at 59 and change. It needs to be nerfed back to what it was, doing all main story quests left you at about 59.5
We barely did any zuldazar quests before hitting 120 /shrug. you did not need to finish all three zones leveling.
On alliance yes, the horde warmode bonus barely made a difference.
they seemed like they were basing their nerfs off the alliance WM. It was like a 30-45% increase in XP.
And we’re going to get this problem if they don’t change something, they MARKED main story quests, people who don’t know are going to rush them and get stuck with no quests to do.
Sadly I don’t have beta so I can’t test it out myself.
I felt like it was darn near perfect before honestly, if you rushed Main story with some side quests you were about 59.4, it didn’t feel too fast and it felt smooth.
Leave it up to blizzard to break it though.
Who really knows anymore? It could be the 29th but I’m sticking to my original claim Oct 6th.
Either way, I’ll find a way to get to 60, I have to tank for my guild after all.
As I am too, but I rather have a pre patch and release that is some what ready to go. Not everyone running around being beta testers, when all of that should of been done on the PTR’s.
You say,
BUT
Isn’t that a core mechanic in the game? If so how can it be getting positive reviews? Asking for a friend.
