wowhead released a list of which classes/specs to play in SL and after glancing through them, not much has changed, like my main demon lock pretty much as it was in BFA.
But I do agree it won’t be after Oct 6th.

Not only that, they actually removed the Release tag! Looks like it is going to be October 6th.

October 6th seems like a pretty safe bet. It’s 2 weeks after the end of season warning. It’s after the rep bonus thing ends. It’s after the brewfest ends. The 6th just makes sense at this point.
The rep bonus was a non-issue, it would have only overlapped for a day. And they always run the holidays on PTR - probably in case a build releases during one. It could have very well been the 29th but there was clearly a holdup with the planned Release candidate.

Maybe, but when you add all those things together the 6th still makes more sense than the 29th. Especially the 2 weeks post end of season warning part.
Btw, that “measly” 10% horde war mode could cut off over 300k xp from leveling, i wouldn’t call that nothing.
I agree. Brewfest in fine on the PTR and I even tanked the Brewfest dungeon it was a little slower at 50 but no issues.
It was either going to be the shortest season ending warning or the shortest pre-patch. One of the patterns was going to break, either way. The fact they marked it as a Release candidate, knowing about the rep bonus and holidays, indicates they were considering releasing it - if nothing went wrong and it seems something did.

As someone that leveled as both Horde and Alliance at the start of BFA, it certainly is nothing.
But we both know thats an entirely different issue on its own.
Last two pre-patch notices were 11 and 12 days so not really a big deal.
Hopefully the kill the 30% alliance boost lol, that’s a bit insane.

Close enough to 2 weeks. The 29th would have been much less than that. Until a blue tells me other wise I think it will be and always was going to be the 6th.
Least we are on the same page with that one lol.
