I have alliance-side transmog to buy, and I don’t know how much wiggle room we have for the event currency. So I care.
We got a cougher over here call the covid police.
They announced that the PvP season would be ending Soon™ on Monday. Are we just going to pretend that didn’t happen, or what?
You can safely assume the patch will either drop on Tuesday, or on the 6th.
That is a you problem… not a reason for a shorter pre-patch.
Apparently, lots of people trying to.
That would affect me and all the other Altaholics quite a bit. Ive got 4 toons at least that im rolling with Prepatch launch and at least 3 120s (might be more, it really depends on the Prepatch date at this point) to take through Prepatch content and gear. Right now I cant level my alts. So many people say to wait til Prepatch. Its so close now that im stuck in limbo waiting.
You don’t have to be a rocket scientist to understand that uncertainty doesn’t instill confidence.
The fact that Blizzard is being as vague as possible about when it’s releasing is why people are making threads about it. But why should Blizzard care? Look at all these people talking about their game. Look at all these fanboys lining up to defend it. They know what they are doing.
The drums keep beating.
I mean, it’s literally what they’ve always done, is this really your first rodeo ?
Doesn’t mean it’s right.
At the end of the day, it’s a video game, not life saving information in a crisis.
I’d rather they do it this way, then announce early and push back constantly when issues crop up.
I agree, but I would also love some transparency. Jesus christ I knew about the release date of the last FFXIV content update months before it came out because of an email. I’m not even subscribed to that game and I haven’t been in like a year. It’s just when SE is doing a better job with transparency you need to sort it out mate.
Actually they are not mutually exclusive. It can be a “me” problem and a reason.
If it is a “me” problem… others may feel similarly. And if Blizzard got similar feedback, that would be a reason for a shorter prepatch.
Prepatch periods are the times I disengage with the product the most. I am probably not the only one. I fuss around with the events but play alot less, because I can’t even do the things I normally enjoy. Everything is broken and busted in preparation for the expac. Some classes don’t have major abilities that would make their playstyle much different at Max level in Shadowlands.
If they shortened that prepatch window, I would be glad for it.
I don’t think we’re getting one at this point. An announcement I mean.
plot twist: the Pre patch is October 27th and Shadowlands is some times after.
Exactly…
“Incoming Text Message: Hey we need to have a zoom meeting in 10 on final number tuning on the classes. Make sure you all are wearing pants cause Al is going to be in this meeting.”
If you don’t like the normal 4 to 6 week pre-patch then don’t play all of it. It’s absolutly a YOU problem.
Season ending already had one… pre-patch I’m guessing sometine today.
I was being facetious.
Didn’t they update their monday post to say the season is ending soon? At the bottom.
Oh I missed that… sorry.
