The one with no date on it? Yeah I saw that one.
End of season posts haven’t had the date on them for the last expansion or two.
Good chance if there is no date announced today it won’t be til the 6th, i highly doubt they would announce the prepatch on the monday before.
It has been said the pvp season ending announcement happened so Oct 6th the pre-patch will happen.
Still though these people act like Blizzard gave us a set in stone date. For all we know it could come out on the 13th. I just hate disingenuous posts acting like they can predict it when it’s always in flux. All we know is soon and at most two weeks before launch because there’s only two weeks worth of quests to do. It’s still cutting it way too short.
It could still be the 29th… it’s all guesses.
I hope it is. There’s absolutely nothing to do and I would like to be able to get all the armor sets and the pet.
I’m out of likes so have some
It’s ok I also like Pizza. Spinach and feta pizza please!
With the clown show that corruption has caused for pvp i dont think anyone will care if they cut the season short.
13th is like 99.9999999% unlikely as they always have a week period with no event at it’s a 2 week event.
The Maw isn’t finished, changes to Torghast quests. Balance seems to be a mess. Things aren’t looking great.
If I had to guess, this will be much worse than 8.3, which launched unfinished and buggy.
Still could happen.
If it did I don’t think Gallows is going to have enough
Nope. . Someone is still playing Destiny 2 at the moment.
Hey, i gave it a non-zero chance!
Literally all of those things have been addressed by streamers and so far the only complaint is about balance which is admittedly a large problem right now.
The key differences being BFA could not be fixed because the system was so flawed. Covenants/Legendary items can be fixed with balancing so it may take a bit but it will likely be far better than any patch in BFA by a mile.
Still thinking Oct 6.
Given the “Ending soon” Post was monday… I’d say the 6th is the target with the 13th as backup. But honestly I think the holdback is probably the realm connections. They want all the realms done and stable (definitely not the case with Khadgar at the moment). I don’t think they are going to hold off on the connections unless they just run out of spare time. I’d imagine this is also the week when everybody is taking time off before the pre-patch chaos.
I watched the Madseason video twice and lol’d twice.
They know what happened and seem to be all hands on deck fixing it. My guess is their goal is to have that wrapped up by next thursday so they can finish the merges and whatever post-merge and pre-deploy steps need to be done before the actual patch.
I’m guessing that most of the database changes were done 8.3.7 and the main of the patch change is the level changes and associated adjustments. So the DB is ready and the software is mostly ready, they just need to do the final scripts to do the level squish and shift us off of BFA.
