You guys are pretty bad at your jobs. Do you guys do any testing even sorta before stuff goes live or you just roll dice on what to change after patches hit?

At this point you should consider that if the pattern is so consistent they’re doing it on purpose.
Most testing is done by randoms in the beta and ptr, random players who have zero reason to believe at this point that there is any reason to put effort into constructive feedback.

People acting like they have slaved away to get perfect corruptions when the system is only 3 weeks old is pretty lol.
This patch is going to last us almost a year, so please get the balance right ASAP Blizzard.

Cute, but can we get a “restore corruption” option then next to the cleanse corruption? Because sure people have spent millions buying certain corruptions but they’ve also been cleansing the stuff you’re about to buff. I don’t nag often but I do feel this system and the numbers was so poorly thought out when you look at all the corruption adjustments you guys have made since it went live only two weeks ago.

Agreed with all the people suggesting some sort of way to restore Corruption since the system is so unstable.
Good idea nerfing all these after people already took advantage of pushing high keys with echoing voids lol

The Corruption mechanics is #1 reason I stopped playing 8.3.
- Let us purchase corruption effects.
- Remove negative effects.
I would think of coming back then.

Some players spent a lot of gold for certain corruptions.
Some players cleansed corruptions that are now getting buffed.
It was clearly broken, but we know that back on the PTR and it still went live.
Pretty much indefensibly bad on Blizzard’s part.

I love the logic behind this too. I want to know which dev was like “you know whats a good idea? nerf the fun corruptions and buff the boring, useless ones”
There better be a reduced corruption cost for EV now. Since it looks like blizz is going to force the OMFGSOAMZING versatility garbage down tanks throats

Wow… what gave it away? The 2 weeks of parses? The people (like me who has EV) posting about how dumb it was not to nerf it? Bloodmallet and Herodamage? Literally every discord for melee dps talking about EV?
And if you don’t fix Twilight Devastation with then you’re really as clueless as this your post showed.

All true, but it doesn’t justify Blizzard leaving the system broken as it is.

Agreed that EV needed a nerf but there needs to be a better list than this and more details.
Why not have EV scale after the dmg nerf according to ilvl. If we’re nerfing other corruption effects (dmg procs) can we increase their proc rate or are we just really tuning the corruption levels down. If so what’s going to happen with tuning of raids and to those guilds that have obtained mythic gear thanks to corruption stacking.
Are we also rolling back cleansed items as I’ve cleansed a few items already that I otherwise could have used.

Got Echoing Void last week. Had Void Ritual on week one. Ended up cleansing the corruption of Void Ritual to stay under the corruption cap and Void Ritual seemed mediocre at best. These changes aren’t gonna make me a happy camper.

Would’ve been nice to do this before people opened their Mythic+ chest and cleansed pieces to “make room” for their new corrupted pieces.

Make adjustments 2 weeks ago when we already knew that this stuff was over powered. Instead they left it in and let people think this was how it was going to be. so they are destroying items some guilds have spent way over 200m gold on. And to top it all off from the looks of things the bosses are tuned to current coruption. So yes this is a bad nerf. And blizzard should be called out on this.

Can you re-corrupt the gloves I cleansed today then, since you’re gonna screw us all like this 8 hours after reset?
Would’ve saved a lot of people a lot of pain if you did it BEFORE we all got our guaranteed corrupted item this morning, but no, you wait until everyone has implemented it into their current corruption setup.

Well yeah obviously, but it’s week 2 of mythic in a raid that’s going to last 9 months.
There have been numerous cries over trait balance, Blizz adjusts, and now new cries over how unfair it is their gear got nerfed.
Should they wait another 5 weeks?
Or say it’s too late they can’t adjust things anymore because Mythic is out?
