Corruption Effects Adjustments Incoming

All this system shows is you should have implemented a kunai cube effect for corruption like in diablo 3 where when you “cleanse” and item you bank it permanently and can add it on other pieces of gear for corrupted mementos cost.

The fact you didn’t think of this, is beyond insane.

So you’re going to allow us to undo the cleansing on these lesser corruptions after this right?

You need gear to troll forums now? Where do these drops occur Sabbia?

I agree.

Will corruption amounts go down too? My twilight devastation ring is 75 corruption. If you nerf the damage I hope the numbers go down too

That’s what I’m hoping too. If Echoing Void is nerfed, then it should give less corruption to compensate.

That is a good idea. That cube in D3 is brilliant.

Can you give us some kind of idea when you will finalize these effects? I am so sick to death of these “significant” changes in the live game. We spend a lot of time gathering and budgeting our items only to have our time completely invalidated because you do not test ahead of time, or aren’t able to give us some kind of close to finalized number beforehand.

That’s what PTR is for isn’t it? I understand small tweaks, but c’mon this is getting out of hand.

How will these changes affect PvP damages and can we expect any pvp balancing?

Great idea but won’t happen. Blizzard is too busy looking at statistics and algorithms instead of what the players actually want.

how about making my 12% haste to avoidance staff not totally worthless? this is getting the feint pants when your buddy gets the shuriken storm shoulders all over again.

It’s just unforgiveable how this went live in the first place.

Testers on the PTR knew how broken things were. If a group of devs had literally done like 5 dungeon runs with different corruption equipped they should’ve been able to balance it better than this.

The only thing I can possibly think of is that they’re so incompetent at their own game that they don’t have 5 decent players among them, playing at a similar level, that allows them to balance things. You can tell after ONE run looking at meters, to see that things are broken when one piece of gear does 20% of someones damage.

Did the mongo devs get infinite stars and echoing void and so it wasn’t noticed how OP they were? And then they ignored data from testers and bloodmallet etc? I just can’t even begin to fathom how this happens.

It’s just ridiculous. What the F are we paying you for at this point?

How have they not learned yet? I don’t get it. I mean after so many years, how do they still keep introducing gear into the game that is so powerful that is requires an emergency nerf that negatively impacts thousands of players.

Seriously, it’s like amateur hour.

I agree, they’re just toying with our experience as consumers of their product.
