Bit late now, for real.
Buff the ones that aren’t good or do nothing. A lot of us have heavily invested into items due to specific corruption affixes!
Love the system, but its WAY too rare and getting the combos you want is effectively impossible, especially after all these buffs and nerfs.

The volume of changes happening to corrupted effects now are honestly unacceptable, especially with the system being implemented as is. You tell people to cleanse corrupted gear if it’s not good for them, and then repeatedly everything gets re-tuned on the live servers. And if you have cleansed a corrupted item, there is no way to reverse that decision, even though you have no way of knowing if Blizzard will decide to suddenly improve something that was bad before, or nerf something that’s currently good.
I knew this system was going to be trouble, and provided feedback as such on the PTR, but that was only looking at the implementation of it. The additional tuning you have been doing has successfully made this already bad system even worse.

Not trying to be a hater but you guys are going to get some hate for this change being done right now. The timing is horrible after people spent a lot of gold and time getting those corruptions and even cleansing other corruptions in favor of the ones you are nerfing.

I will bluntly state that I am glad I sat out on participating on corruption system. Maybe it saved me some sanity and my time.
I made some yummy hot chocolate and I am very happy just chilling doing what I want in WoW. I will just log in and make some hexweave bags and sell them to the army of vulpera waiting to snatch my precious bags on the AH haha.
Life is good when you ignore the corruption system IMVHO.

This system is the first thing that has made me ever consider why I play. After grinding so long, the piece I get will get nerfed to the point it’ll be useless?
Blizzard really has gone downhill.

Awesome! Message received! Cleanse all future corruptions since they all will be trash now like the four void ritual belts I’ve received. Would have liked to try out one of the op ones but alas trinkets two weeks in a row.

I really, really think that BiS corruptions should be kept BiS. Nerf and buff as desired, but obviating top-end gear in favor of the stuff everyone cleansed already just makes everyone annoyed.

This is kinda ridiculous. What purpose does the corruption system serve if we keep being yanked around like this?

Now I am upset I got Echoing voids since its been nerfed continuously.
I know its good for a lot of people, but the problem with these corruptions are the % damage part, making them very good for tanks.
Of course, I wouldn’t recommend nerfing corruption since its the one thing that will make the expansion fun as the patch goes on… not the riveting content.

Don’t care about buffs and nerfs to that gear when I end up having to cleanse or shard it. So how about doing something actually useful by reducing the amount of corruption on a lot of the pieces. Many have WAY more corruption than the positive effect is worth. Much out of balance there.
