Convert button gone?

Same here! I was just about to make a post when I saw this one.

I’m not getting the option to convert any of my time runners to retail even if I’ve had them since day one so it’s definitely something recent

I just transferred an alt two nights ago and it worked fine!

Gone for everyone I assume, awful timing too I was just about to be able to convert a mage.

I assume the option was removed manually as having a whole UI element gone out of nowhere doesn’t seem tu be part of a bug

My unsubstantiated theory is that characters that recently converted from Remix to Retail are ending up in a weird half-phase that breaks Retail gameplay, so the devs turned off the conversion option until they could fix it. (So they don’t end up with a bunch of broken characters they have to do extra work to fix.)

Stuck in Alternate Orgrimmar Phase after converting Timerunner

I recently converted a horde Demon Hunter (the character I am posting this on) from a timerunner to a regular character but I am stuck in an alternate phase of Orgrimmar. Saurfang is standing on the steps to the keep with a large crowd of NPCs standing out in front, the keep doors are open, and there are no quests in the area, inside the keep, or outside the gates. I have no quests in my quest log and I can’t seem to get out of the phase no matter what I do.

Looks after Blizzard wasn’t able to fix the Lemix → Retail conversion in time, they now put out a “bug fix” to remove the button.

I am having the same issue. I don’t follow news and stuff on the game, only check here when something comes up - so no idea why but neither my character I have had on it for a while or the one I Leveled just to swap to retail to play with friends (wanted to swap it last night to play with them) can.

I am surprised how many bugs I have run into in remix, oof it’s been a rough go.

for me last night i logged into my shaman lvl 68 time runner got it to 80 and then the button was gone and i was confused because it was there when it was lvl 68 and at the time no forum posts. i was hoping it would have been fixed by now but looks like it was wishful thinking. maybe post Tuesday Maintenance it will be back?

Opened a ticket in-game for customer support, and they sent me a link to an article that doesn’t exist. - I’m assuming it will be fixed tomorrow after maintenance ?

Maintenance seem to have fixed it, I was able to convert a character
