I was going to say , I don’t remember WoW having to be updated
because a new version of DBM was made .
Now I have seen it the other way where DBN has been updated because there was a new encounter dropped by Blizz.

Free forum.
I asked you a question. If I didn’t want an answer, I wouldn’t have asked you.
Nice attack though.
Which ones and why?
Personally I like addons, I would be disappointed if they went away.
I would prefer 100% to have the standard UI customizable to have everything I need from the addons.
But yeah, seeing how much raiding is nearly impossible at mythic level without weak auras makes me think where and when did we drop the ball.
They should remove the server hopper addons for the people who hop to avoid dying in wpvp
what conversation, we dont need to have a conversation about add ons, you need to have a conversation about add ons and make this a thing
I though he quit Wow?
I used to. Once you learn a fight there are only a few mechanics you need to look out for.
Stay.
Removing them just stifles innovation and creative thinking that could potentially aid WoW or become a future ui feature for WoW.
this is what everyone wants basically
Remove any auction house related add-ons. The auction house is unusable as a regular human player. You post something? Undercut by 17 botted accounts in under 30 seconds.
because they don’t?
so an addon helps someone react to a mechanic. oh no. that’s… awful?
I mean, I agree that certain weak auras (like the among us, or the positional ones back in WoD) were too much and I don’t have a problem with those being broken.
but the devs feeling that they have to be in this constant rat race with addon developers to outdo the other makes increasingly complex/convoluted fights, to a point that is just becoming unnecessary.
or maybe I’m just getting old.
They should stay…
However, there may be room to scale back some of them within the API. How that would play out is beyond me. It should be a collaborative effort between Blizzard, top raiding guilds and ranked PVP players.
So this is where it’s coming from…
If you don’t like add ons, guess what!
You don’t have to run them!
But that doesn’t mean just because you don’t, everyone shouldn’t.
Adds should stay, period.
Exactly lol. Take a jackhammer to get that through the skulls of some people Haha. Don’t recall anyone’s arm being twisted, or forced to use an addon lol. Raid leader said I can’t raid unless I use this, or that addon oh no’s It’s the end of the world as we know it
Didn’t know that was a thing, if it really is, blizzard should break it.
But in my experience, it was zone/shard borders built in the game doing it, and blizzard should make it where if you are in combat, you don’t phase until the combat is over. This was the main reason I completely gave up on wpvp.
If you join a cross-realm group, don’t you not phase until after you’re out of combat?
That’s how it seems to me, in any case.
Joining a dungeon queue will port you out even if you’re in combat, though, that’s generally what people do, isn’t it?
no, it phases you immediately if it’s going to phase you.
Huh. Not for me. Weird.
Considering I use 50+ addons I would legit quit this game if they all didn’t work tomorrow. So yea, keep them please.
