Continuous Harassment

Why is it that after you put someone on ignore they can still send you ingame mail and continue to harass people ? Is there no way to ACTUALLY ignore somoene without recieviong mail from them ? So if I keep recieving threats and the police won’t do anything , blizz won’t do anything , I’m just left with 0 options and forced to be harassed by this person for as long as they see fit ??? I thought this was a safe gaming space , clearly it isnt if you dont give us any options to actually block or ignore someone !

You can open a ongoing harrassment ticket and keep putting them on ignore. Yes if the police have to get involved blizzard will intervene.

Also.makes language no matter the intent isnt allowed.

I haven’t been able to find that " ongoing harassment ticket anywahere and no they wont get involved with the police because clearly im here as a last resort after the police have already been involved .

Blizzard will absolutely work with legitimate law enforcement requests for data, logs, account information, etc. They do respond to police and law enforcement requests.

When you ignore someone, you have to do it from each one of your characters. That should ignore the entire account of the person you don’t want to talk to - for that char of yours. It should also ignore their in-game mails to you. The exception may be if they are on an different server and it may not properly ignore them.

There is nothing here that helps me report ongoing harassment , just read this and that but no actual link or way to report , everything says ingame and there is nothing ingame that will allow my to report ONGOING .

In such situations, we’d ask that you submit a ticket. You can do so in-game by opening up the main menu (ESC key by default) and clicking on “Support”. This will open the in-game browser that will allow you to access some self-help options like the Item Restoration page, submit suggestions or bug reports, browse Support Articles or submit a ticket.

At the top of the page you’ll want to click “Contact Support” Select the game World of Warcraft > “I would rather categorize the issue”. There you’ll select In-Game Issues > Report a Player > Ongoing Harassment and then “Contact Us”.

Fill in the details, including the name of the character, realm, the approximate time frame this happened, and whatever relevant details you can remember and submit.

Keep in mind, it is important to establish a history when it comes to this type of harassment. Be sure to place the character on ignore, do not engage or argue with them and submit a report. Our staff will take it from there.

these directions dont exsixst - Ongoing Harassment and then “Contact Us”. There is no way for my to contact them and there is no Ongoing category

I’m not sure what you mean, Kiwi, the ticket option is very much available.

You click Get Help in the upper right corner of this page.

Click on the World of Warcraft icon, then “I would rather categorize the issue” > In-game Issues > Report a Player > Ongoing harassment.

Then, there is a big blue button that says Contact Us:

If you click on that you are directed to the Ongoing harassment page where you can fill out all the pertinent information:

And click Submit.
