I tried an RP server partway through Legion and tbh, give me the douchy epic gamer bros and edgy gen xers trying to offend people over all the drama those servers seem to produce.

My advice if you ever try it again find a laidback rp guild and stick to walkup rp until you can find one. Walkups tend to be less volatile usually and as long as you arenāt in some edgy serious business only rp guildās it should be fun.

I probably wonāt. I will forever be scarred by the experience of me and a mate tooling around in the inn where he was dancing on a table and I acted out being his pimp complete with purple hat, causing a demon hunter to walk up to me and really earnestly threaten me to leave him alone. That and about six messy breakups occurring in white chat.

MG Horde is pretty good, but extremely dead. Iāve tried WrA, but seeing all of the people in Org just messes with my ADHD brain lol

But actually committing is hard with my schedule. Iām still glad to exist on a RP realm, because reading profiles is fun.
I think Iām going to leave my beloved female orc death knight behind this expac (not feeling it, and also, yes, her customizations wereā¦ Less than thrilling), but now I am a very handsome Zandalari paladin FOR THE HORDE. TBH, this has not been a very alt friendly pack, for my own reasons as well as Blizzardās, and the news about no new customizations is only a further blow.

Part of my problem is that my established characters (ye olde reliables) have a solid look in my head.
But the incentive to roll new guys depends a bit on novelty. And the ability to create brand new, lore friendly characters.
Yeah, itās the same reason I always find it quite odd theyāre so weird about adding transmog to classic.
They donāt seem to understand that a significant number of people play WoW as a barbie doll. Iāve probably spent more time hunting mogs as I have cleaning up my rotiation to push my dps parses and character customisation is definitely part of that.
Hell, I donāt think Iām alone in saying I would pay like $5 here or $10 there for dlc customisation packs.

- Non-receding hairlines
- A deep blue and real red eye color
- The pale white skintone 99.99% of Shattered Hand NPCs used in WoD
- Existing skin tones to be made higher res and the piercings made 3D
First three go for regular orcs too

I mean you can add the fourth to orcs if you just change the clan.
Iād like them to expand on Clan-specific options like Blackrock growths, Bleeding Hollows gouged out eyes and dreadlocks.

Clan tattoos, at the very least for the Dragonmaw who had them before the model update.

Here are my ideas:
Nightborne
- Way more customization options
- Add accessories that are unique to Nightborne
( some options only available to them)
Kul Tiran
- Way more customization options
- Accessories unique to Kul Tirans with their own flavor
Worgen
-Give them tails - more than 5 options at least.
Tauren
- Give them more options to round out some of the weaker aspects of their customizations
- Add more unique accessories
Orcs
- Add some new faces (existing ones arenāt too different from each other)
- Add more scars, war paints, and markings
- Accessories unique to Orcs
Mechagnomes
- Add way more customization options
- Add a unique upgradable and customizable body part system unique to Mechagnomes.
Night Elves
- Give NE males new face options
- Update the male skeleton rig.
Vulpera
-Add way more customization options
- Add more unique accessories
Blood Elves
-Give them White and Blonde hair
- Give males more face options that donāt look too similar
All races including ones mentioned
- Add way more haircut options
- Add more faces ( many options look too similar)
- Add new option for eye shape if possible
- Add new accessories
Ideally they should put in work on upgrading the player models and creating a way more robust character creation system. What we have in 2021 is a joke.

Sure they are well improved. They are still behind most races though.
How many face options do they have? They donāt have many options at all.
Many races still need a lot of work.

I like how there are threads like this with countless ideas for customization and lots of other threads on other forums with concept art and Blizzard says the community needs to provide feedback because they donāt know what we want.
Either they never check forums or they went numb in the head when they were trying to come up with a quick lie as to why they just donāt want to do it.

Their response was essentially spin so they didnāt have to say āWeāre way more behind than we want to admit and need all hands on deck (artists) to make assets for future content patches. We just canāt spare time for customization right nowā.
