Raised through different means. Not the same way most forsaken was raised.
They do, otherwise they wouldn’t have cared about the lore correction red shirt guy gave them in cata, and thus honored him with a npc.
I personally don’t like it, but it is already done, in the main game story and explained it needed a naaru and 2 powerful light users to accomplish vs normal necromancy, which also uses a form on unholy magic akin to the void.
I do not support undead paladins due to the nature forsaken is raised and established effects of the light on them via lore.
When Void Elves get their AR passover I hope the jewelry has different color options. I want to be able to use gold jewlery on some Velfs and silver on other. Velves having limited aesthetic flexibility is frustrating and was even worse when they had no natural skin tones.
I also wonder what their jewelry will even look like. Will it be embedded with gems that have the same dark void texture that their heritage armor has? That’ll be cool
I hope they get a circlet option like Draenei and Nelves got. Like a cool swirly circle/diadem with a void crystal(S) embedded in it
Also speaking of limited aesthetic flexibility Nightborne need lots of new options coloration wise. I also feel like most armor doesn’t look good on their model except their own heritage armor which sucks
U-hu. And this makes that thing (yes Calia, don´t care) any less of a lore aberration why exactly?
Same “let´s crap on the lore and go wild with headcanoning” than Voidin, dear.
The flamboyant use of retconns post MoP suggest otherwise (I mean, I hope you are aware basically all the member of the lore team sans Afriasiabi -who is rumored to have left Blizzard btw- are newbies. And hungry to retconn left and right apparently).
I repeat: that ship sailed already. Devs can pull another BS explanation to support Voidins just like they pulled it to support Christie Golden´s nu self insert (which in retrospective come as hilarious when we take into account they once again contradicted themselves in Shadowlands; more especifically in the Venthyr zone -were light indeed droves mad and ugly perfectly funcional dead/undead/native from the dead realms? people.-
Calia is the Perpetual Motion machine of wow -she broke and continues to break the freaking lore, but alas!!! the perks of being a pet character / borderline self insert of one of the writers.
Dear, do take the useless jewerly options given to Belves. They´re underwhelming and pointless -and a lore disgrace to boot-.
Go wild while asking for them.
Do yourself as favor and grow some literary standards, please.
Not overly stupid (yes, stupid. You read correctly) like the Calia fiasco. Or the probably incoming Arthas/Sylvanas one (hopefully it just stays in the “chance” stage and not the Kerriganed and implemented one).
Heck the whole Arbiter lore is a -pardon me- incoherent clusterf***. Somehow the thing was PeRfEcT at it´s job but then again the realms with some very crucial jobs for the very existence of the SL kinda fell apart in the equivalent of minutes? Contradictions on top of contradictions, so messy.
She and her followers are pretty much paladins though. It is specified she wears the symbol as a mockery but this is because of her conviction (specified there, which is an important word for a paladin), her abilities aren’t exactly jokes, she can use seals and the whole deal just with shadow instead of light.
You know, I actually kinda do. Say what you want about her, but her story isn’t boring.
Oh for sure. I gave her the K-pop-iest hairstyle I could think of. (The one with the chopsticks and dyed single strand of hair) and gave her that new blue-colored fir. Really lean into it.
