Her abilities work the opposite of paladin abilities though. She doesn’t heal, she puts heal absorption on foes. She doesn’t buff allies with auras, her auras weaken enemies, etc.

I will admit her existence makes me mad, but NOT because the fact she “exists” in itself, but because she´s the scapegoat the devs used to literally castrate the Forsaken race and to non ironically “forsake” the fans of the race after more than a decade.
That was a low blow from a supposedly serious company.

I get it. I’m really only teasing in fun. People can dislike anything they like, and your feelings have some definite validity to them. I thought it was interesting, but I get that I’m actually pretty easy to please.

Kinda. She does have some direct parallels, though the concept of her design was indeed as a “dark vindicator” . " What would a corrupted version of a draenei vindicator fight like? Many of Velhari’s abilities are a play on core Paladin mechanics such as (Un)holy Power builders and spenders, auras, and Guardians of Ancient Kings, with each of the three phases having a theme that parallels one of the Paladin class specializations."
Which is true, she does summon the dark harbinger and so. She fights like a paladin but certainly she shows a core that’s the reverse for things like seals and so. But that isn’t necessarily something actual paladin mobs don’t do. There are NPCs that use similar damage auras and so just with holy light instead.

Golden is more like a cat lady IMO. specially since she constantly talks about her cats.
She comes across more as an anti-paladin to me. Basically like a DK but with fel instead of undeath.

I never considered DKs very anti-paladins in gameplay personally. Though I do know they are the anti-paladin in lore contrast.
So she doesn’t give me any of those vibes. So I’d say she is an anti-paladin in values, but a paladin in how she employs her power.
Anduin is definitely better when it’s not on her hands for sure.
I mean the lore is kind of broken with the Void Elf Priests using the Holy Light to heal people and Lightforged Draenei using Shadow Demage in Shadow Spec.
Which is what I said. Not really Pure White Hair Color. It’s kind of shade of Greyish White but not nearly white hair color.
Not only Forsaken fans… one of my two fav characters from the game A.K.A. Lor´themar (yes Helfers, get over it) kinda got ruined as a simp for her in pre-patch.

Fun fact, Death Knights were originally going to be called Anti-Paladins in Warcraft 3, but when they cut the Warcraft 2 style Death Knight unit from pre-release Warcraft 3, they renamed Anti-Paladins to Death Knights.

This isn’t actually lore. It’s gameplay vs lore separation. Devs didn’t want to sheer off specs from an available class, but they are not considered canonical representation.
