Continuation of New Customisation Options for: Void Elves, Blood Elves, & misc high elves

I appreciate the info from both you and Lorithyn!

I was about to say I didn’t have specific examples but that I’d run into them here and there, but now I feel infinitely less helpful then Lori and Snowsong.

So… I’m just gonna go to the store. Lol

It’s all good. Having a community of people is great for pooling resources and information! We can’t all know every little thing so having other knowledgeable folks around is great for filling in any gaps in our own knowledge!

Thanks! I’ll add it to the list!

it’s ok, you’ll probably grow though this.

imagine being this obsessed with maintaining a static marker solely for game play differentiation in the hopes of getting a carbon copy of blood elves. kosak didnt seem too familiar with the subject either as he is asking for specific mob names. if people want to interpret that as a bug while it still never got addressed after getting passed along years later :woman_shrugging:t2:. a case can be made for many sunreavers to have blue eyes, the ones that came later during the northrend campaign are another matter

I hope this wasn’t supposed to imply that I wanted a carbon copy of Blood Elves, because I don’t.

This doesn’t really imply a lack of familiarity though, it just means he isn’t sure which mobs are “glitched”.

I really don’t care whether it was intended either way. Blue-eyed Blood Elves existed then, and they exist now.

Whether or not the blue-eyed Sunreavers in that quest were intended or not is entirely irrelevant. :man_shrugging:t2:

Been a while since last saw you around. Where have you been hiding?

Did Somand plug your modem back in?

Yes. I reconnected to many dead elves.

The ones who survived Arthas’s slaughter weren’t happy to see me.

not you in particular. but that pro that felt compelled enough to reach out on twitter after the hundreds of bug reports he and others submitted, and were never addressed, yes

i do think they were. remember when vereesa had green eyes when they updated eye glows? that bug got updated quickly as many pros were quick to point out. as well as danuser confirming lanesh, who also first appeared when the blue eyed sunreavers did, was intentional much more recently. thats my interpretation :woman_shrugging:t2:, but yes its entirely irrelevant now that blood elves have been updated from their TBC pre restored sunwell customization options

Well, we’re going to the Shadowlands. You can personally get revenge, just don’t disconnect yourself in the middle of the battle.

Don’t worry, this time I’m going to be 100% ready for any challenges the Shadowlands have in stor–

I asked Lance to post that image on my behalf because I lack trust level 3. It was in support of my claim that;

I think we tend to overestimate how much Blizz cares about these tiny details. A handful of elves in the game have been given the wrong kind of eyes and go a long time without being fixed. Heck, the High Elves in the rift still use DK eyes even though Blizz could change them to be standard blue eyes

I’m told that the new purple eyes were a bug that appeared on female High Elves. Instead of correcting it Blizz opted to give them to players. Now they don’t have to worry about fixing any NPC because they can have any eye color and be correct. So long as Void Elf NPCs don’t start popping up with gold eyes…

Anywho, as Lance said
