Continuation of New Customisation Options for: Void Elves, Blood Elves, & misc high elves

But then we look at Night Elves and we can clearly see its not that much of an ask.

Tatoos and scars are completely out of line with the level of customizations to the core races.

Fifty shades of what?

Your own post. Also, I said most, not all.

My post is a compilation of everything people have asked for as options regardless of my personal viewpoint.

Huh?

Believe or not there - is - a shirt that is just tattooes! The design look similar to this one, it’s in the game files, but not as an item available to players, lol.

I believe you can look it up in Wowhead’s dressing room in the shirt slot, one of the last of the list.

Well, they certainly didn’t make sense when they were implemented. But Dalaran being in Northrend might make sense for Shadowlands. So perhaps they just put it there too early.

I knew about that. I didn’t count it because as it’s unavailable to players, it’s worthless. It seems to only exist for NPC use.

Void Elves can have other Void-y stuff too, ofc. But if Blizzard wanted to give us more high elf customisation (which is what these new options are for) I’d be happy to see SC stuff.

I still can’t wrap my mind around the fact that there are a lot of items that are ingame, perfectly good for player usage, getting dust in the databases. Stuff like this tattooed “shirt”, or the black round sunglasses, and even the countless recolors of items we already have.

I know, right? It’s infuriating.

This recolour of Paladin Tier 2 is a perfect example:

There’s a lot of great stuff in game unavailable for players that looks great. But at the same time there’s a lot of stuff that was limited time that is also great now unavailable as well. I get wanting to keep things rare but I’d prefer just keeping them in game and just changing the way you get them. Like I don’t see a reason why Challenge Mode armor couldn’t just be associated with Keystone Master now. Or Mage Tower appearance associated with the Endless Dmg/Tank/Healer trials. Or old elite pvp sets just getting a quest for a token to redeem for the set after winning 50 games above 1800 or 2000. Gives players who weren’t able to play during certain xpacs the ability to attempt to achieve something that is equally as challenging.

I get wanting to RP high elves, and I wouldn’t stop someone but what you’ve been saying sounds a lot like trying to erase a part of void elves.

The SC isn’t really any different than blood elves as far as their look and feel… It’s just blue versus red.

Void elves having a void take to their rangers won’t stop anyone from rping a SC elf. Heck their stuff is shown on Alleria, such as feathers and the farstrider tattoos, so those things could easily be regular void elf options.

Void Elf Rangers are there already, removing them to add something in their place seems silly.

Sorry if that’s not really your thought here. It’s just the take I’ve been getting from it.

And of course I am slightly biased as my Void Elf is one of their rangers.

How is it erasing when he’s also saying that they should add void stuff too? We are now seeing that being “Voidy” isn’t what it means to be a void elf anymore. (Alleria for example) We come in all flavors.

He’s asking to remove the void elf ranger aspect and replace it with SC stuff.

In either case it shouldn’t be an either or.

Void Elves should have the options as they are. There is no need to replace anything.

I think he said “If blizzard wanted to give more OPTIONS then i’d be happy to see SC stuff”. No erasing anything, purely optional. Alleria could easily talk to Vereesa in expanding the SC with her Void Elves. It’s how i read it anyways.

When he said he’d “gladly give up the Ranger theme on our Void Elves”, I thought he meant give up on getting Farstrider options.

As I said, I could be getting the wrong read.

I hate the trend of erasing void elves for high elves.

Even worse!

Farstrider Tattoos for both belf and velf!

That’s why I was arguing against him earlier. The Silver Covenant don’t have a strong enough visual identity to provide customization options. They’re helves, have a tabard, and tend to wear blue, silver, and gold. That’s it. You can replicate that pretty much exactly in Shadowlands on a Void Elf already.

I want Alleria’s tattoos sooo bad. She looks like a cool ranger viking D:!

They really don’t.

There’s a lot you could add to void elves and it could easily include SC stuff. Void Rangers should not be ignored just to get SC though.
