why are we still spinning this tale the SC of dalaran, who are pledged to the kirin, are actually pledged to the alliance? that they appear EVERYWHERE in every zone in the game outside of the dalaran/kirin tor context. gotta move on

Keep in mind that if these portal mages are canon, then Dalaran is canonically back in Northrend for whatever bizarre reason.

Not everything we see in game is canon, sadly. This is evidenced by the fact that the player’s participation in the War of the Thorns BfA pre-event was non-canon.

In my opinion, the devs really should have made the Legion portal go to Dalaran and the WOTLK portal go to Wyrmrest Temple (there was a portal to Wyrmrest in Legion Dalaran before the Great Portal Purge). If not Wyrmrest, then have the portals go to the respective Silver Covenant/Sunreaver camps below Northrend Dalaran. Then at least the portals would make sense in continuity.

It would be awesome to see their own Silver Covenant take on the Ranger aesthetic. And since they’re specifically not designed around one thing, we could have plenty of neutral options that work with every class selection.

I’d rather see Blood Elves get the original Ranger aesthetic and Void Elves receive a Silver Covenant’s take on that particular theme among others.

Right? I’m still for them getting a reskinned paladin that has void/shadow spell effects. Of course it would show that they aren’t “high elves” and are actually void so I doubt many would go for it. But I personally would love to see a paladin that doesn’t use the light, like Tyrant Velhari in Hellfire Citadel who was a paladin that used fel. I think they should redefine paladin as just a warrior of faith and leave the faith up to their race. Like Tauren Paladin should probably have more fiery look to them since they are Sunwalkers. And blood elves spell effects should be red as we are blood knights.
