Continuation of New Customisation Options for: Void Elves, Blood Elves, & misc high elves

My void elf is a Ranger… I would not like that. At all.

Yes. I’d really like green tattoos/paint, like the Rangers cut from pre-release WC3.

Closest I can come to that right now is this, which lacks the leg and face tattoos/paint:

Not only that but what in the world is Silver Covenant “culture” they’re a military type thing? But not a class fantasy like Blood Knights, or Kirin Tor mages, or Farstriders, their like assumably some of all of them in the SC? I remember this being said before and I was just as confused when this was said like a week ago.

They are built exactly the same way to the Farstriders. They were based on them. I assume they’ve modified it a tad to include their mages and such a little better, but that’s where they come from.

I would rather we see the void elves adopt the wider culture of thalassians and take it their own way, such as void rangers, than drop that entirely for Silver Covenant stuff alone.

That said theres plenty of overlap.

Farstrider Tattoos (what Alleria has) should be available to both sides and most anything else like feathers and such could easily still apply.

Void elves don’t need to give up anything for folk to have their SC elves.

Though it’d be nice if blizz gave them some more natural hair colors.

Side note:
Still waiting on those dark Ranger elf skins and eyes blizz…

They’re a paramilitary which means their organisation is more ad-hoc to allow for their members’ skillsets.

There’s no point getting the local enchanting trainer to join your murderous death squad and pick a bow to murder ethnic minorities when you can get them to pick up a spellbook to murder ethnic minorities.

I’ve got no real dog in this fight. However it’s weird to refer to the Silver Covenant as only high elves when that isn’t the case. There are other races who are members of the Silver Covenant. So it’s not a cultural or racial divide, it’s strictly political affiliation. Many high elves of different factions and backgrounds still make pilgrimage to the Sunwell.

There are? Got any sources? I’d like to see it. Not doubting just hadn’t seen it before.

Only thing that comes to mind is that one time in which a SC High Elf was leading a group of Night Elves in that one Horde quest

The gamepedia page for silver covenant not only lists Jaina, but a gnome as a member as well.

A non-High Elf member of the Silver Covenant that springs to mind immediately is Moonbell.
She’s the Stable Master for the Silver Covenant at the Argent Tournament.

Interesting stuff

I’m discounting Jaina as a matter of gameplay, but the rest you all found are interesting.

Now we just need to get Blizzard to do the same.

I don’t think giving up the “ranger theme” is really necessary to have all that. They have rangers within their rank anyway. Their leader is “Ranger General”

I need the ranger theme for both, or I will cry.

I hated how Hauldron basically did nothing in Legion. He should have been getting some lore. Poor guy.

He needs some time to shine, but also it might be safer if the writers don’t remember he exists for now.

Stopping by to show my daily support of High Elves :hugs:

Or are we supporting Void Elves now? Hell I dunno. +1 support for all things elven
