You know achievements are acct wide right? I see nothing the most you show is s3 keystone conqueror, like you don’t even do 15’s lmao. Are you just trolling here? I know 15’s are easy but i actually do them, you literally don’t even do 15’s and you talk about them being easier then raid and all this gear raining from the sky. You see my ilvl? Now check raider.io and see how many runs i have done and still missing several pieces.
You literally talk like someone who has 0 clue about M+ and your achievements back that up to a tee. Troll elsewhere
Dear OP,
Blizzard would love to get rid of having to build raids and only focus on maintaining servers while people run the same dungeons over and over and over and over.
Just imagine the amount of money they can save if they lay off everyone except for a small group of people to work on updating old dungeons every 6 months.
I mean raiders still complained when all they had to do for the week was login for their weekly raid and logout, that was back in WoD. Complaints of “no reason for me to login, just get my raid lockout done then wait for the weekly reward from my garrison.” Mythic dungeons were useless, as was world content. Mythic raiding was the source of the best gear and if you were a mythic raider, there was literally no other reason to login.
So both worlds will harbor complaints. Mythic raiders will complain they have to do something outside of raiding to be the best. They’ll complain if all they have to do is raid for the week and no other reason to run any other content, so it’s a pick your poison scenario. If you want to be the top 1% of anything however, there likely will always be “something” no matter how small outside of the activity itself that can min / max your character and that’s just the nature of it. Even with WoD when raiding was all that was important, those raiders still had to somewhat work on their garrison to be able to keep up with the weekly loot reward. Leggo ring I guess too.
Some complained, most of wod problems come from not releasing enough content everywhere. We only got 3 raids. WoD still was a way more healthy expansion for raiders and it’s fine that you don’t have to play the same game every day.
M0 had a lot of people do it you just didn’t need to do it if you were pushing raids, which is totally fine. And Mythic raiding is still source of the best gear at least when it’s done well.
It’s not even about being top 1%, if you do mythic and want to clear the raid in good time you’ll have to do M+ because the rewards are just too good. Making raid drop double loot and letting raid gear be upgradable with valor would be a good start just to make it more fair toward people that don’t want to do M+ or at least reduce the time you need to spend in M+.
Right now with the vault and valor M+ is just way too strong. It could drop gear under heroic raid without the vault and people would still massively do it. So either give a bone to raiding or split m+ from raiding because what we got now will only make raiding less accessible and continue to make players that want to raid as their main activity leave.
Yeah I agree that raiding should reward upgradeable gear and valor. I don’t really see a reason why it’s not already there as I feel that would solve a lot of the issues with Mythic Plus being spammable over the weekly lockout of raiding. If there’s one change I definitely think is paramount to ensuring raiding remains more relevant than mythic plus it’s to add that similar system to upgrading and valor, along with a higher base item level with mythic raiding still being the source of the best gear overall.
Without valor caps it really doesn’t matter if you have BiS, you have the freedom to upgrade as many pieces over the season as you wish.
At the end of the day having a decent piece upgraded to max ilvl is better than having 278 pieces, there isn’t really much cost when it takes less than 10 mins to do a run.
In both the guild discords I’m in, I see a few high runs, then I assume after they have a decent piece or two, they just spam +2s.
There are probably more +2s being done than any other difficulty in both of the guild discords, just from personal observation.
Blizz didn’t make it obvious last patch when we killed the jailer that SL was done?
this ‘patch’ was obviously 2 dudes working what was probably hours 50-70+ over a weekend tossing together what they could as quickly as possible because SL was abandoned.
Don’t let the sugar coating trick you, we were denied a content patch and given this instead as our silver medal
Fair point. To the one I was making, however-I doubt you’ll be pugging mythic much regardless of lockout status. Seems a little less puggable than the infinitely puggable normal/heroic.
I’m not, its clear it was just thrown at the wall to save some subs, and all recourses plus that extra team they acquired are working on DF. I’m fine with that tbh, but this season sucks royally, there’s nothing to do.
The introduction of the token upgrade items honestly just shows how out of touch Blizzard is.
They expect raiders to not only do their progression, but also spend additional time trying to do early bosses of the difficulty above what they currently progress so that in 8+ weeks they can upgrade a single item.
The only people I see that truly benefiting is higher skilled players spending an extra 3 hours to reclear a lower difficulty trying to get key pieces like Old Warrior’s Soul etc.
Even then it is a lot more organisation required as well as extra hours above what they would usually do for progression.
Which would still probably have been better spent running more M+ instead getting more pieces of gear and more valor.
