I mean. BFA isn’t a well received expansion though. I don’t believe Blizzard not listening to feedback is what’s bringing people to the game.
I’m so sick of the crazy amount of world quests on the map. I did too much of that in Legion because it was new and now I’m so bored of it. I don’t have fun doing them. Eventually I’ll get flying, but I’m not in any hurry to do so. I’d rather pay gold to get flying on each character.
There should be a pathfinder option for players who don’t have the gold to spend, but for players that do have gold and don’t mind using it for flying, let us use gold to fly. Just like how it was in Cata and MOP.
Also, these essences and azerite traits? Yea they’re kinda cool but what would be cooler would be a talent tree that will stick with me for future xpacs.
Dude, people can give whatever kind of feedback they want as long they don’t break the CoC of course. I don’t understand why this is a hard concept for you?
If the developers don’t like what they are reading, then they can step up to plate and tell us themselves. They don’t need you trying to guess their feelings on the subject or trying to speak for them.
white knights NEVER need a reason to defend their liege all it takes is one person to disagree and theyre triggered
“You’re Welcome…”– Blizzard
+1 For the OP.
Ever since WoD the game has lost a lot of fun.
-Classes need to be made fun to play again.
-Pathfinder needs to stop gating flight.
-Both time and reputation gating need to stop gating flight.
-Grinds need to be made fun again.
Yeah, i know i stand here very lonely with this, but i did actually enjoy the Classes in WoD. They did try out quite a lot interesting and fun things … Warrior with 1h and Shield in Gladiator Stance as DPS, Shadow Priests that could be specialised to do instant damage and not just dots … and the list goes on.
Indeed Classes need to be fun to play them again. I have every class at 110 at least … and i have to say quite some Specialisation are awkward to play, or have Talents that are just not fun to use.
For that Pathfinder … it is ok if you lock it behind a Achievement … but … Reputation Grinds … that’s the only idea you have here? I get it you do all Quests, you Explore all areas … but Reputation? And why that stupid 1-year Timegating? Why not allow us to unlock it in a 3 month window.
I would rather have it that certain zones or gamemodes(Warmode as example) don’t allow flight …
As for the grinds … i want more choice in the grinds. Most grinds right now you kinda have to do … not allot choice …
sadly until the higher ups either rein in watcher and the developers adamant to destroy flight and other fun content even at the expense of driving away players itll never get better
you would think the shareholders and the people running Blizzard would much rather see more people playing and earning their company higher returns on their investment in the process
the executives need to remind the developers who they should be working for the customers who are actually the ones paying them and not just the ones over them signing their paychecks because if we aren’t paying their company then the CEOs etc will stop funding their project and in that case they all lose
watcher and all need to take a look at their priorities and remember NONE of them are irreplaceable
Flying should have been for TBC zones only.
I disagree. I don’t see how flying is a problem. Care to explain?
because as Blizzard said its harder and more costly to design content in 3D which begs the question why?
the older team did it with few issues and often on time with few exceptions so why cant the current dev team?
is it due to a lack of passion and desire for the game or its simply a inability to be creative?
This I 100% agree with. I literally turn 45 degrees and look at Storm Peaks, Deepholm and pretty much all of the leveling zones in Pandaria.
also lets not forget the overhaul they did with Cata adding in old world flying the team DIDNT have to revamp the EK and all oh no that was their decision to do so
I agree with OP. I have very little fun with pretty much any activity in current WoW. BGs are kinda fun when they’re not fully one sided. Other than that for BfA.
You should see the amount of people defending Pathfinder in this thread. It is like the current system is like the only the system that should be used to extend us on being on the ground.
There is zero room for anyone to make suggestions or offer feedback on how they could create more engaging zones that utilize flight or create more interesting content that unlocks flying.
I would assume its the latter. I mean just look at the overall Story since 4.2.
Garrosh turns Führer and … gets bashed. Is then freed and goes to Alternate Timeline Draenor in the Past … where he murders the Bronze Drake Kairozdormu … and they then open a Portal to our Azeroth in the Future …
After some more Bashing Alternate Timeline Gul’dan does what our Gul’dan could not … enter the Tomb of Sargeras. Then we actually Repair the Exodar … and fly back where the Draenai came from … Argus … which for some reason does not really feel like the Huge Demon base it was pushed up to be.
Inside Antorus … Blizzard is finally able to destroy any Mystery that is left around the Titans, and they suddenly now are strong enough to deal with Sargeras …
Those two expansions, from their setting … are already pretty uninspired. I can only imagine what the Pitch for Warlords of Draenor was … something along the lines:
Ugh … we not got a good idea what to do next, how about we let the Players face off against the original Horde?
So of course Gul’dan had to be here too and they can show how evil he is. And after WoD they had the same problem … as to what to do. Easiest target was Sargeras and his Burning Legion, we already have a brand new shiny Gul’dan to wave at Sargeras too!
Talk about creativity.
They could have made Warlords of Draenor a pure Time Travel Expansion, where players prevent the Infinite Flight to alter our Timelines. Just add a huge “Sands of Time” hub, with tons of Portals to all kind areas on Azeroth … past or future … maybe explaining as to why only the Heart of Y’Shaarj was left below Pandaria.
seriously if they aren’t up to the task or simply no longer care about WoW then why not ask to get reassigned or convince their bosses to bring in some fresh blood to take over
I found this pathfinder to be more interesting, and varied, than the last two (Legion or Wod.) It took about 2 weeks, once live.
Granted I had Legion pathfinder about 3 days after it went live, so it was certainly easier. It only had revered with Broken Shore, remaining for me to do (possibly some achievement quest? Can’t recall.)
WoD I got during a time gate in Legion, with my Hunter. “Hmmm, time gate, guess I’ll knock out this WoD pathfinder? Oooh, medallion of the Legion strategies? Hmm… just 45 K more gold on the AH to also get Wrynn’s to Exalted?(Unneeded for pathfinder, but what the hey?)” I was glad of that, since later medallion of the Legion did not raise Wrynn’s
So WoD, during Legion, also took my Hunter about two weeks/less during a Legion forced Time Gate. I forget when it was, perhaps before Argus? She made a REALLY good use of that time, also getting lots of lingering Panda reps to exalted.
These things are what you make of them, really. Everything for Pathfinder was stuff I’d be doing in BFA anyway, raising those reps and such. The added strategies of the pet battles, as well as fishing daily in Mech, just made it more varied.
Again, my objection has always been the artificial time gate of it being 6 months to a year plus before we have it. Actually DOING it, is pretty easy.
I was exalted to all BFA reps before it was added, getting oodles of paragons with them all (even turtle dudes.) So having a new thing to do was not bad.
I think the main people complaining are those who live in dungeons/raids, balking that they kind of have to do content not in their wheelhouse? It is ironic that they are quick to jump in and say, “It is part of the game!” if a raid/dungeon is needed to unlock something else.
look at how many players on here say well if your feeling burnt out then simply distance yourself from WoW for a bit unfortunately being the people creating it they don’t have that option and when people go thru the same kind of monotonous activity day after day it shows
which boggles the mind as to why the developers aren’t more receptive to players complaining about issues like pathfinder and all were basically being subjected to the same kind of nonsense THEY face yet they cant choose to say you not what I don’t feel like programming WoW today do you know what their bosses would say to that?
I only finished Pathfinder last night and I still play… I just work 50+hrs a week and have a wife and kids. I hate the system how it is and wish there was something else other then time gated rep to grind out to complete the achievement. I mean I miss 4 days it isn’t like playing the next will let me catch up.
