Which is why Blizz made it so not timing keys was still very rewarding. Let’s not ruin an entire role because you can’t deal with an ignorable timer.
How is being easy ruined. Guardian Druid does it just fine.
Or your 9 thousand DPS prot pally.
The content WoW provides is too competitive for its own good. Keystones downgrading and vanishing are good example for this. The developers could simply remove this feature and dungeon+ would be still great for everyone.
Opened up the FF forums page. It’s weird, the complaints are similar on both forums.
Right down to the people offended. People asking for updates, people wanting Ilvls removed. Oh 3rd party tools are being used more it seems by those coming over from the WoW community is a post too.
Can I ask you how long you have been playing and if you ever go to their forums? No matter the game, you will always have people who dislike some aspect of it.
I don’t fault anyone for liking another game, FF doesn’t do it for me, and I would hate it a lot if some those features were implemented here.
SO not true. Not even close. Its bad game design dude.
In other words… You are shy or extremely insecure. Dont project your issues on the rest of the players. Nothing wrong with guilds
IO score is stupid but its not even close to toxicity. Not even in the same world
your key going down -1 isn’t going to break you. keys haven’t vanished since legion.
I haven’t played the game yet. I plan on starting with it the coming expansion. I want to try the lion race with the basis set.
But from what I have gathered following the topic for one month, the developers care at the right spots where I want to see wow following their lead. Great cosmetics, honoring invested time, fun activities.
edit: grammar
You’d think that, but it’s really not the case. Take some time and really check that out in the forums. A lot of the posters here are seeing things through rose colored glasses, it’s new to them, they have years of content to get through, not saying that’s a bad thing. The players that have been there forever are a better gauge. Not saying succumb to all negativity in the slightest, but I know people who play who come to WoW for raiding and PvP because the end game is just not for them in FF. No matter the game droughts will happen, FF has the same issues.
I wouldn’t say this. Old content is not honored in wow. You can’t just queue for the older dungeons, you don’t even get rewarded in doing them regularly. We don’t have a 100% drop chance on mounts and the currency to get missing transmogs. We don’t have player housing, we do not have these instruments and community who simply enjoys sitting around and listen to other players. Our trade chats are filled with boostings. And the transmog looks better and not like a body paint, you can tell that they put more care in the well being into the game.
I do not doubt that FF14 has issues but the first impression is better to me.
Isn’t it human nature to adapt? Why can’t we expect human players to adapt?
Well then the Devs should stop making a game the breeds Toxicity. They literally create these toxic systems and environments and forget about them for a year because they think they are always right.
You can level sync and time walk.
Some mounts are some are not, and we do have a current mess of how to get old gear, from gold to marks.
It’s true we do lack player housing, think it’s mostly due to WoW’s old engine isn’t designed for it. Also WoW has RP servers, community tabs, the ability to play with any server.
Depends on server, I’ll take a channel you can be social in over FF’s hampered chats.
FF can look great with their armor sure, but their newer races can’t use a lot of it, head pieces and the like just don’t appear. They also lack a lot of armor sets in comparison. Their armor is stiff and constantly breaks when your character does anything outside of combat and emotes. A difference again from engines and limitations of MMOs on both sides.
All and all it is a different game over there, looking over the fence, yeah it looks green, but there are a nice amount of dog turds as well on either side of the fence hidden in the grass.
I was not specific enough. I’m referring to the cut content which is relevant to the story, as the Teldrassil Burning or the removal of the Timeless Isle storyline which cannot be accessed anymore.
Furthermore, there is no constant timewalking. If you want to do certain dungeons with your max level character. You’re also constantly required to participate in the events.
Nevertheless the game needs such a system. We lost count how many 1/20 chances we have used to get certain Legion paragon chest mounts after three years. We still do them regularly together, everyone is still missing them after years of daily class hall missions.
This is not my point though. They allow these spams to exist in the first place because they profit from it. Instead actually doing something they dance around the problem time after time. This is not acceptable.
Competition and standards are not inherently toxic.
Higher rewards means people that aren’t prepared try to get into harder content.
People that aren’t prepared burden the group and cause failures.
It could be that what is really the toxic behavior is people showing up to class without paper and pencil, demanding that it be provided for them, and then calling everyone toxic for refusing.
There is a responsibility to the group to be prepared.
This is why I also talked of level syncing.
Offering a service is not acceptable in trade chat? Since when? Gold runs have always been sold in WoW.
You know exactly what I am referring to!
M+ is not toxic at all. In fact having run hundreds of keys I cant even recall anyone being really toxic since BfA.
‘You know what I mean’ isn’t a counter. If you wish to actually elaborate please do but if I may ‘ban people who offer runs’ is not a good stance on it’s face.
Oh, you know it too well. The constant and endless spam.
I can understand if you see profits from such services but I love to compare these things to the global warming crisis we face: It’s okay because it doesn’t affect us until it truly becomes serious.
Boosting spam should have been dealt with. The players lost a corner stone of communication because of the constant spam.
Toxicity needs to be cracked down on. All I can say is that I agree.
