Collector's Edition?

If you had the Collector’s Edition on your account, will you get the Mini Diablo and Panda pets again? Or will there be something new?

No official word, but given their posts on other things of a similar subject, there will likely be no crossover in items, pets, etc. between modern and classic. And I’m happy with that, speaking as a vanilla CE owner.

I wouldn’t be opposed to a separate CE or digital deluxe edition associated with Classic that offers all the same stuff, but only for Classic accounts. No crossover into Retail, obviously.

But given there’s no additional cost for the subscription, do you expect to be able to get a panda in some way?

If they want Classic to be like vanilla, then there has to either be a CE for Classic, or give vanilla CE owners their pets.

This is not the same as items “carrying over” from one game to another.

EDIT: Also, I’d like my Murky too.

An earlier post on this got a blue, Ystheins i believe ,and he pretty much said from what he knew you should count on not having them(CE pets).

I would rather there be a new CE/DD with variations of the OG pets.

The only problem with a new CE is that everyone and their mother will have it. It won’t be nearly as special.

Yeah, though I’m not really bothered with it. All it means is I was 18 and skipped a few nights of pizza to get it. Though I still have the box, and most of what came with it, I am missing the map. So if they release something similar with another map, I’d probably get it again.

the mouse pads I think are what I am missing, i think i still have that cloth map from it though.

I have all the boxes and all the content, still. I stopped getting the boxes at Legion, though and now I just do digital.

I keep hoping they release a new digital collectors edition that also unlocks the ability to buy original unarmored epic mounts from a vendor. You’ll still have to pay full price but they are available.
