Collection of Dracthyr Evoker Player Feedback

why don’t you play the game and at least reach level 60 lmao its like the 10th time that people want more options. Options are something you choose

I can post on a lvl 60 character. I have one. Does that make my points more or less valid? lmao

Ha so you just skipped the second part of my comment

the second part was worded badly. I’m not going to try and decipher that.

Add boobs and buff forms. And thick thighs for both versions.

That’s my feedback.

would you agree that not every option is a good option? Would you also agree those can also be subjective?

If so perhaps you can have a discussion without calling people trolls and using ad hominem attacks. Something you regularly do.

you regularly shut down others arguments by “blizzard say so” every time and the famous “If you don’t like it don’t play it” on every thread you pass by. In my last post you weren’t trying to discuss the options, you directly tried to shut the discussion with the first argument.

While I don’t disagree with that I don’t think I’ve said that once. I said it doesn’t look like blizzard wants to do it and gave examples why I don’t think they will.

When they said they might I said it’s up to them in the end. I could live with it. so no. That isn’t a fair assessment at all

I don’t like it.

I could make a list of reasons, but basically it just boils down to: I just don’t like it.

Think this post summarizes all of it. The only thing I’d add which is maybe sort of unrelated is that with a new race and class coming, it is 100% time to increase the account character cap from 50 to 75 or 100 per account. It’s been 18 years, it is absolutely time.

And for that matter the Dragons themselves are super closely linked together, the class they can be is a hero class and I do not want this hero class to be limited to 1 per server like DKs and DHs were. I do not want to create only a single dragon, per server.

Although this issue doesn’t really affect me (since I only tend to keep 1 character of each class & race anyway) I can understand this concern. One thing I will say though is that, unless you’re a high end player, I don’t even think which server you are on really matters these days (something which I wish wasn’t the case)

Don’t care about this as long as I personally don’t have to use the visage form for anything other than riding a mount.

I hate this idea and if they decide to implement it, I hope they do it in a way that doesn’t force those of us who want to be in dragon form all the time to have to be in visage form as well (i.e. Demon Hunter Meta form animations. If I wanted to play a character like that I would have made a DH).

NO. NO. NO. For the love of all things warcraft, Please Blizzard DO NOT PUT BOOBS ON THE DRACTHYR!!!

I don’t mind this one so much as long as bulky doesn’t equal roided-out freaks like most of the male species of this game.

Maybe later down the line. Not necessary for launch.

This would be cool and I’d love the opportunity to never have to use the visage form.

No. A tanking spec is not necessary nor does it fit the theme that Blizzard is going for. Also just because they didn’t highlight any Black Flight magic in the reveal doesn’t mean they didn’t make any spells based on that flight. I wouldn’t be surprised if the Black Flight magic shows up as defensive spells or external CDs.

I just want bulky Dracthyr and I’d prefer their face to not be so thin and narrow. Why can’t they be buff with a strong jawline?

This is my fear as well. I hope Blizzard doesn’t completely cave to all the “give me, give me, more, more, more” ppl.

It’s already the case so you have nothing to fear. The people who don’t want want to be a dragon all day are just voicing their desires. They said you can be a dragon pretty much all the time (some things would require the visage form, like mounting, but that’s it)

I would personally love it if the visage were visible in combat where reasonable, but i would also be happy if they just added a toggle for it to auto turn off after combat ends.

They said they want players to be able to do what they want with dracthyr aesthetically, and so they’re experimenting with adding the ability to use the visage form in combat, internally right now. It’s pre-alpha so chances for everybody to be happy are pretty good.

thank you op for the post, hopefully it will keep being built upon in a positive way.
I would love for their to be better options for the visage form, we know the aspects can be variety of elves, humans, gnomes and even tauren. I see no reason, other than maybe that it takes too much resources, for this to happen.

I also think this would be a great time for sliders to be added to the game. It could really enhance customization and everyone could make their dracthyr the size they want, lanky or beefy. all choices are good.

Yeh, exactly. I don’t actually mind options in most cases (breasts on Dracthyr form are a hard no for me though). Those I can ignore and keep playing with my lean Dragonkin while pretending Visage doesn’t exist. My only worry is that Blizz, in typical Blizz fashion, won’t add options, but will instead just change the race. Thus leaving those of us who liked what was already there out in the cold. :frowning:

I don’t know if this game can handle sliders, but they could at least do what Wildstar or GW2 ended up doing with their bodyshapes and give us multiple per race. Let people pick the shape that appeals to them.

imagine hating more player choice that isn’t contrary to the lore/doesn’t impact other experience. I framed this suggestion as a glyph.

someone didn’t read the whole thing. Although, considering how danuser explained the origins of the dracthyr, there’s a good chance that female dracthyr with human physical characteristics makes complete sense despite dragons being ‘reptiles’.

Again, why not??? If roided out ones exist on top of other options, it doesn’t affect you. stop being a tribal andy control freak.

Why not for launch, enough with the timegating

Why. Not. Saying ‘‘it doesn’t fit what they want to do’’ isn’t a good reason. The dracthyr are not a pre-established thing in warcraft. Neither are the evokers. Evokers can do whatever blizz decides they can. A tank spec only improves the class, makes it accessible to more types of players and gives the dracthyr race access to all 3 roles (since they can only be evokers)

And I stated that if they do it, to do it in a way that doesn’t interfere with those of us who don’t want to use it.

I did read your entire post. Why can’t you and others accept that not every race in the game needs to reflect societies gross stereotypes of what men and women should look like? What’s truly so wrong with a lean androgynous race?

As for other class options and a possible tank spec. Blizzard doesn’t think it’s warranted or necessary at this time. Just because you and others do doesn’t mean you’re right. I don’t agree with all the choices Blizz makes (I sat out most of Shadowlands due to the choices they inflicted on my favorite spec) but in this I do agree with them.

We don’t always get what we want, not how life works. If they hold their ground you and others will have to suck it up or sit it out. Just like I will have to do if they cave.
