You have an odd way of seeing things.
ive first handedly done a Dungeon with 4 rogues and a druid. was fun as fu*k.
was the one with the Lich and the Quillboars, spider boss too. wtf was its name…
sendaddonmessage was the implementation that allowed addons to communicate over private pub/sub channels instead of globally readable channels.
prior to that function being added you used sendchatmessage and targeted a user channel. addons such as ctra/damagemeters used this channel and called it a ‘sync channel’ broadcast by the raidleader.
hint - i wrote some of these addons. pretty sure i know what was there.

With thousands of people posting in them and people spamming MAGA or F Trump 24/7? Nah I’d rather use discord or /w people I know instead of trying to read a chat channel moving at blazing speeds

So the auto invite feature and it seeing talents isn’t an issue? Those are two features not featured in Vanilla WoW except for this addon. The original LFG addon, CTA, wasn’t don’t until 2006.
Is some random dudes name supposed to make me think Call to Arms wasnt released in 2005? Read my posts rofl, i dont even care about the addon itself, im more concerned with how extremely blizzard will limit API interaction so RP addons that existed in Vanilla wont be broken.
They were being extremely vague, and TRPs own creator cant think of ways they can limit it without interfering with the ability to share RP-profile data.

And an addon exactly like this was in vanilla, and the API to auto-invite, as well as existing addons were in vanilla.
BREAKING THIS ADDON IS A CHANGE!!!

Retail is so great with cross server group finder and all that…class balance too. Go play retail its such a great game and leave classic alone.
I played vanilla and nothing like this was on my server. Maybe it was on yours but it shouldn’t have been. This addon shouldn’t be in classic especially since we see what LFG of any type does to the community.
I think on classic- cast they were clear on that if you didn’t watch plz go watch.
Not taking this well I see. Auto invite and the ability to parse talents are the reason this was broken. You were told this multiple times but refused to listen.
