A reason doesn’t need to be given to you. It’s being removed. Blizz gave you one. Learn to deal or roll ooooooout.
Lets start from scratch, with the base game. Then lets have Blizz authorize any add on that wants to be in it. Other than that lets use our brain, our natural talents, instead of relying on a computer to do your work for you.

There will still be a lfg addon. It just won’t function the same way. Prob no auto invites. Hopefully there is one at least or it’s back to asking discord an friends only for invites

Doesn’t matter, majority of the community will quit in the first 2 months, the minute someone falls behind, their classic experience is over.
No one is gonna help them catch, and their only recourse will be lfg, trade channels in chat which will be full of political spam.

The add on had automated functions that didn’t required social interaction in the chat, but i’ll tell you what that add on won’t be allowed in classic.

Im so proud of Blizzard and this dev team. Wow at the commitment to upholding the spirit of the game. The only difference is this time I never doubted them. After they put in freaking Spell Batching, from that point I believed that they actually cared. So this was a super obvious one.
Still dancing in my chair. What a lovely present for an already hype weekend. Christmas has nothing on this.
And lol @ the celebrations about this new in the realm discords, lol.

Once again bias. A better way would be for blizzard to email a survey out to all accounts asking if they support it or not. But it’s easier to cave to a bunch of people yelling on the forums then to do real research.

Yes, and if it’s only limited to chat parsing/posting with the addon communication part stripped out, it will work just perfectly and do exactly what those of us who are going to use it wanted it for anyway.
The question is, will all the rabid anti-addon people trying to throw this in our faces start up again, or will that be enough for them?
