Classic vs Retail. Retail is a superior game but fails in key areas

trolling much? lol.

Not at all.

BFA is completely on rails.
A theme park design with time restrictions.

Classic is a living world. Free to do what you want when you want.

where retail fails is its end game systems m+,4 raid lvls, forced rep grinds,ap grinds and essence grinds and bad class design.

I agree and they can start by getting rid of weekly caps. There’s no reason I shouldn’t be able to grind Conquest points if I am able to play everyday, all day, all month. It’s stupid. I know why they do it but it has unforeseen effects artificially limiting game-play – like enthusiasm to play when everything is restricted. You want people to play your game Blizzard? How about removing the training wheels.

so
let’s see. do you work? have a family? kids? elderly parents? or are you at kid at home during summertime? because if you could just grind conquest whenever you want the adults with lives would be so far behind the kids that can play 16 hours a day that bgs and arenas would not be any fun for most people who subscribe.

There’s nothing wrong with people being better than you at a video game. Stop worrying about what other people do.

I’m not responsible for you getting someone pregnant or taking a promotion at work.

do you support no lock outs on mythic raid loot as well? because it would have the same effect on pvp. :stuck_out_tongue:

i’m a woman actually but thanks.

The way personal loot works, there may as well not be any lockouts. Have you seen how split runs go these days? It’s insane lol

But the point is that someone who plays 16 hours a day is always going to be better than the person who doesn’t.

you have no idea how much i play, or what i’m doing while i do play. i can play pretty much however i want as i’m disabled. that does not mean that i should be able to spam arena to be fully conquest geared in two days.

I didn’t say I knew how much you played, I said that someone who plays 16 hours a day is going to be better than someone who doesn’t. If you played 16 hours a day, you will be better than someone who doesn’t. I don’t care who that describes, I’m just making the point that it shouldn’t matter how much someone else plays to you.

Not the case at all with the old conquest system. It would take over a month to get fully conquest geared unless you showed up to the season late and the game stock piled all the Conquest points together from the weeks you’ve missed prior to the moment the season started.

actually i play around 14-15 hours a day most days and i am terrible at the game. even on my mains. talent doesn’t just magically show up if you throw enough time at something. honestly if that were the case people could just work their way into the olypmics with hard work or something. which obviously you can’t do that for most people just because you want to.

There will always be exceptions to the rule. That doesn’t change that someone who is practicing at something 16 hours a day is going to be better than someone who doesn’t.

i know this. this other guy is arguing that he thinks he should be able to grind conquest without a cap just because he personally has so much time to play.

That is wildly inaccurate. I have never grinded conquest in my life nor do I ever intend to. I also don’t have much spare time to play as the time I do play I spend with my raid team.

i was talking about forsch i think his name is. the guy i was actually talking to. :stuck_out_tongue:

my mistake!
