Classic TBC Servers down with no notice, again!

Put it back the way it was before you broke it. Then you have 6 more days to get this sorted out.

I’m not upset about not playing the game. I’m upset about poor communication and having been misled. No explanation changed to 9am(at 10:30am), then became 10am, then became Noon, 1pm, 2pm(at 2:30pm). It’s not at all absurd to be upset by this. It’s very normal.

here is a word i found in the dictionary that might be helpful.

in·def·i·nite·ly /ˌinˈdef(ə)nətlē/ adverb

  1. for an unlimited or unspecified period of time.

Communication! It’s not that hard.

Does that mean you might just leave them down for a while for the fun of it? /sarcasm

I think part of the reason people are reacting so strongly is because this comes the day right after maintenance day, it essentially just amplifies the annoyance of the situation in my opinion.

At least it was something important, thanks for the update!

Ordinarily I’d agree, but this is just how a good chunk of the WoW player-base acts.

Ya’ll are going to get this thread locked, no idea why we are flaming Vrakthris. Literally the only person willing to give us anything at all, and some of you go on the attack.

He gave us exactly what we we’re asking: a simplified “what’s going on?” answer. They don’t know when they are going to be done, but they think they are getting close.

It is what it is.

Have you ever worked on the phone for an internet company? Until an official word is released the ones who answer the phone can not inform you that an outage is happening, let alone what caused it. Even if phone support knows what happened.

It doesn’t matter if they are or are not. It doesn’t mean they are permitted to pass that information on.

It’s obvious you don’t know how a successful business works. It’s obvious you don’t know anything about workers having to follow policy. It’s obvious you don’t know that customers aren’t entitled to every little detail about how or why something is happening the way it is. If you knew anything about how it worked you wouldn’t be ranting here showing everyone that you don’t know how a successful business works.

Sounds like a solid plan.
