Classic + is the only way, doing TBC and onward would be horrible!

Log out of the forums and back in, it will update

Lol. World PvP always is and always will be just trash for PvP scrubs. It is definitely a Horde thing 100% where they either need to party to kill a solo person or they need to be significantly higher lvl in order to even fight somebody. It’s funny because the horde on my Vanilla server ALWAYS lost AV and WSG but would always win AB. This must be some kinda loweffort troll/sh$% post.

  1. Flying was not a bad idea, it could have been implemented better like GW2’s flying though, such as maybe a stamina bar to keep in air.

  2. LFG mechanics did not kill the game lol. ANYBODY CAN INVITE 4 PEOPLE TO A PARTY AND DO A DUNGEON. All this did was set paramters to get lowbies out of higher lvl dungeons and make players able to dungeon more efficiently without waiting around SW while your PL recruits. LFR did damage and I would say Cataclysm is one of the worst expansions for welcoming it in.

  3. Wtf are you talking about “catch up mechanics”??? If you’re referring to the trial of the champion, PoS, and Fos… I honestly only remember the first one but TBC did have isle of quel’danas and Magister’s Terrace. I will say these dungeons should not have casualized epic items… that in itself was a bad thing but the parallel between that and raiding. For the most parts people would bring their alts to raids and even if they were in leveling greens they’d get decked in like a week. All these so “catch up mechanics” did was give casuals some better armor if they were in a world PvP situation but even then the atrocious stat resilience existed from TBC to Wrath.

  4. I will say though WotLK was definitely a time for experimentation for raiding. I’m not a fan of making raids categorized into Normal, Hard, Mythic. If anything just make the 10 man raid normal, and the 25 man raids Heroic. LFR does need to go though, if you want that set you gotta do the raids and if you want to see what the raid is like there are tons of people that upload clips to YT.

Its not about being selfish, its about reality check… classic was brought back, for the people that left and went to private servers, people that dont want certain mechanics… for us, lfg, dailies, flying, horde paladins, alliance shamans, the 1-60sets, the big reset of content making everything wourthless…

i honestly dont think they will work on adding content to classic and make new tbc servers, its likely going to be one off… and in my opinion its far better they add content to classic, keeping things 60 and with everything classic stands for… rather then go down the same retail path alot of people left and stopped playing just couse off…

so you tell me, what good does it make blizzard to add the TBC retail features only to make the same people leave again ?..

ive stated dozens of times why tbc and onwards would be bad. any argument haters for classic plus are giving revolves around added mechanics that ruined wow. makes 0 sense and that isnt logic.

It’s pure economics.

Classic plus will cost lots of money.

TBC and WotLK servers won’t cost much.

Given Activision’s greed, which scenario do think is more likely?

It will be a extra cost, if it only pleases the retail people…

So wow has been dead since the start of wrath? I guess a lot of people would disagree with you.

So the dev team will agree to work for free?

The point with recreating classic, was to bring back all the people the quit, and or played on classic private servers, the very people that left wow, just couse of the mechanics that TBC adds… so whats the point of adding the very thing all these “new” subscribers dont want…

Adding TBC, is essentially the mechanics you have in retail, the very thing we dont want… i can tell you right now, alot of people dont want to go down the very path the once left just couse off… they want classic and the mechanics that come with it… sure add a bc addapted to level 60, no horde paladins, no alliance shamans, no flying, no lfg, no legacy sets, no dailies, no stinking retial crap…

couse adding tbc wouldent keep the players classic brought back, it only keep the retail players…

world pvp is a very important part of the wow expirience. if you dont like it play on a pve server with the rest of the carebears. coming across a random player from the enemy faction, getting into a fight, he calls his buddies, you call yours, it turns into a big fight that could last hours. thats how it was in vanilla. with tbc and wotlk, that aint happening no more unless its on rp-pvp servers due to world pvp guilds. i cant stress it enough, servers like emerald dream on retail were the most fun servers of any server due to world pvp guild rivalrys. while the rest of the players on other servers were bored cuz all they did was raid, standing in main citys doing nothing, we made our own fun doing world pvp and hunting rival guilds. people like you just dont get it, but i wouldnt expect you to, your on a streamer server.

More people played after TBC was released.

I think you are trying to rewrite history by saying that everyone left after it was released.

I also subscribed for Classic hoping TBC will be next.

I don’t want the team that made BFA making more content for Classic.

Many kept playing me including, we endured changes we dident like, but bc brought the start of changes, that in the end made us leave, it was the start of the retail path… i mean take LFG, did you even see the forums a few weeks back ?

But ultimatly, the gain for blizzard and activision, is the people that havent subbed for years, that already quit wow, they already make money on people with 120 level characters, couse they already play retail… i left end of wrath, and i came back for classic, so did alot of other people, and most of that huge spike of NEW subscribers, is returning people like me, that is new money…

And we are not staying for the same retail crap that made us leave in the first place

Actually, the LFD system, as implemented towards the end of Wrath, was damaging to some of the community aspect of the game. There’s a difference between someone yelling on chat to get a group for Forge of Souls/Pit of Saron/Halls of Reflection, getting the group, and then having to make your way to the dungeon, which some of the players might not even know where it is, and hitting an option in the app, getting queued up with randoms, teleporting straight to the instance, doing the instance with people you don’t know, and might not even be on your server, and teleporting back out when it is done.

Did LFD make getting into dungeons easier? Certainly! As a solo player at the time, I had gotten to 80 without entering any dungeons or raids except for RFC, SFK, and BFD. I never saw the inside of the Black Temple until Legion, when I went on my 120 to clear old content for vendoring and to sell materials on the AH. But with LFD, I got to see the dungeons more, despite being more introverted at the time.

However, there was no connection there, no group-building. They were randoms in a queue, and I never saw them again when it was done. In retail, if someone pulls too much and you wipe, kick him, and you have a replacement brought in, so you can finish the instance. All inside the dungeon, in a few minutes.

If there were one thing out of WotLK I would remove from the game, it would be LFD.

No expansions or anything. This is classic.
The only thing I would like to see is maybe some guild perks: guild bank among one thing.

im not for or against but please explain why or you may as well not even comment

hrmmm… I never saw this or do I believe it…

So you have this group of people that campaigned for like 13 years to be able to play the game they love, they finally got it and you are like “lmao, let’s change it for the lulz”.

You do realize the reason wrath was the best expansion bc it had the best storyline. The dungeons were also fantastic, RIP ARTHUS

The BC was fine but that is as far as I would go.

If anything, Classic has confirmed that PvP is dead… was dead, and will remain dead.

BGs are the PvP of choice… World PvP has always been a joke.

Thus, TBC, flying, WotlK… None of this will have any effect on Wprld PvP.

But it wlll create a lot of money for Blizzard, and a lot of content for me to play… so no OP… just NO>
