Classic Fresh MUST HAVE DUAL SPEC

Signing for my support for dual spec. Not a single player that says no to adding it has provided an actual answer to why it shouldn’t be added besides obligatory “nO cHanGeS muh classic”.
For the people who have a life and work a real job instead of playing this like a full time job it’s a huge boon to us who have limited time that we don’t want to waste on chasing an insane gold cost to be able to experience different parts of the game.
I wish I had the time to play it that much but I know I won’t already and I’d rather have it be the least miserable possible.
Gold farming is objectively NOT fun for the majority and does not make most people want to play. The talent and respec system from vanilla is an antiquated archaic system that was changed for a reason. If it was ok and the majority were so against it, it never would’ve been changed originally.

It’s quite hilarious.

I am enjoying it.

Dual Spec incoming, Blizzard sees these Purist #nochanges people are crazy loons that sit on the forums day and night to argue with no real ammunition in their attacks.

It’s a no brainier to bring in a Dual Spec in Anniversary Classic. besides we need to give these Devs something to do, theyre just copy/pasting servers at this rate.

Do you think simply lowering the gold cost/cap for respecs would alleviate this issue so that people can more freely switch specs for PvP or PvE or healers/tanks that want to solo?

That way the Vanilla gameplay isn’t changed essentially at all, and dual spec may not be necessary to add, and everybody wins.

When dual spec is added because it does not have any negatives to it.

This is a must. Please blizzard

It can be our anniversary gift.

How on earth does it changed the gameplay in any way?? i’m legitimately curious how you think this will change gameplay when it ALLOWS way more gameplay options and freedom.
Dual spec doesn’t change how you play it gives you freedom of content. Oh I want to pvp? Change my spec and hop in without having to worry about how I’m going to get that 50g back by raid day or vice versa.
I want to go do some quests or farm some greens or leather for mats or hell even just mine. Swap to a spec better designed for that without having to throw away whatever mats I’m gathering onto the AH just to recover the cost from trying to do what I was gathering them for in the first place.

Patch 3.1

Back when it was first added in Patch 3.1 in April 2009, Dual Spec cost 1000g to unlock and was only available to max-level characters. In the Season of Discovery, though, players can unlock this useful feature far earlier, and for far cheaper.

Show me at one point along your journey to Level 60 that’s being directly affected if the ENTIRE time you’re leveling you don’t even have access to Dual Spec?

He thinks that people will require him to be in a meta build, even though they already require it.

It’s hilarious.

yeah and only the most sweat guilds even care about being in the perfect spec. This game can be cleared by PuGs for G-Sakes… No one is checking their Talent allocation to PuG MC

Sure, Going from

You have to be at the class trainer to respec, and it costs up to 50g per respec

To

You are able to respec wherever, whenever, constantly, for free

Is a major change to the entirety of the game and how people would play it.

So what I’m asking is, would simply lowering the cost of respecs solve the issue you mention about having to farm so much gold to pay the 50g cost each time?

If it were only let’s say a 10g cost, would this still be an issue for you, or would simply lowering the cost fix that issue and if so then adding something like dual spec is just unnecessary?

After you’re level 60 and your specs actually matter. You can’t get Dual Spec at level 30 doofus.

It’s not free.

You have to buy the dual spec which usually costs a lot.

So if you have to pay a lot for dual spec, but the problem is it costs 50g each time you respec, isn’t it still an issue if you have to farm a ton just to purchase dual spec?

Which again, is why I’m asking if a better solution would be to simply lower the cost so you don’t have to farm as much if that’s the main issue.

What difference does it make to you?

Either way we are changing specs.

Why are you even in the argument?

How come none of you can answer this question?

This is crazy.

Would simply lowering the cost of respecs solve the issue you mention about having to farm so much gold to pay the 50g cost each time?

If it were only let’s say a 10g cost, would this still be an issue for you, or would simply lowering the cost fix that issue and if so then adding something like dual spec is just unnecessary?

Because you haven’t answered how it would be bad for the game.

Not logically anyways.

I have multiple times, in multiple threads, directly to you.
