If you’re going to force PVP’rs to raid for gear to pvp then we need Dual spec.
This should be mandatory.

100% add dual spec. Sure people survived without it, but it was arguably bad game design. Each week after raid you have to ask yourself if you think you will get 100g worth of fun out of pvping that week. If your mates are casually pvping on the weekend, instead of just jumping in and having some fun with them you have to decide if its worth 100g. Trying to put a gold value on potential fun is arguably bad game design.
Each week you have to farm 2+ hours of gold farming just so you can be in the right spec to pvp. Then add pvp consumes and pve consumes ontop. Suddenly you’re spending most of a day farming gold just so you can play the game that week.
Dual spec is easy solution. No brainer imo.

Well since its only going to be a year long experience, i dont see why having dual spec would pose an issue. I think because it is only a year dual spec would be an asset to the game.

If its casual, just pvp in a pve spec. Sounds like the decision is more is it worth 100g to pvp in a pvp spec.

True you could raid in pvp spec watching anime and still be fine in classic.

(probably one of the few things in SOD that was enjoyed by all)

So we can have more AV rage threads. 2 for one special. year one horde dominance, year 2 tbc alliance ones. all…over…again.
Its part of wow’s charm. Horde rants on alliance only paladins OP, alliance gets smacked silly in OG AV and rants on AV map imbalance.
then in tbc year 2, horde gets paladin but then rants on AV map is alliance favored later on.
Its gonna be fun seeing this…the 3rd time.

will we discuss cave location? and bg’s starting without full teams? will there be threads about players lacking the epic mount? and the Vann walljump? and pulling lieutenants? Oh, i hope there’s endless debates about the graveyard positions.

Theres no debate, Horde needs bumped forward because when it’s set back even if both factions do nothing but race to each others last Boss Ally wins (with or without horde Paladins)
