You have to love these posts of the p2w kiddos trying to convince people its not p2w lol. We know it is, we saw it the first time around, SoD was ruined (and still is) because of it. Besides, there are era servers for those gamers that want to swipe for pixels. Cheers!

GDKP is already full of RMT.

Banning GDKP only removes players.
The bots won’t leave, nor will the RMT.
Claiming that all GDKP participants buy gold shows how little you understand about bids and pay outs.

Good, we dont need those players that sit around, buy gold and flip it for armor. And yes banning GDKP will most def slow down the process of rmt. Will it still exist absolutely, but I agree and support their decision for banning GDKP ty blizz.

Nothing stopping GDKP players from playing on the Era realms where GDKP isn’t banned.
Why do you need GDKP on fresh when you can do it on Era?
We need fresh because the economy is jacked on Era, something GDKPers don’t have to worry about because they have thousands of gold from doing GDKPs.

How do you flip armor in a GDKP?
I give it three weeks before we start seeing people QQ when the sweat lords already have epic mounts and what not.
The people coming to play CC aren’t educated to the game. I mean one of the presenting devs talked about their 40g mount…
Can’t wait to see how painful their leveling experience is without SoD buffs and experience modifiers.

Why dont they just have one server that allows GDKP and another that does not?

Because of player agency.
People who have no interest in GDKP would still join that server since it would assumingly have more players on that server.
Given you don’t have to do GDKP to play on it. Same reason why players typically roll PvP realms even though they don’t intend to focus on PvP.
The non GDKP realm would have a minimal player base of those who think GDKP is the big bad boogie man. They would still have bots and RMT on the non GDKP server too.

Probably because they (Blizzard) actually know what the numbers are…
People or a person on various alts have been posting continuously about gdkp on the SOD forums since it was banned at the end of Phase 1… yes Phase 1 like January 30th.
Yet Blizzard decides to continue the ban on GDKP going into these fresh servers. That should tell you all that you need to know…
Oh and Blizzard (the ones that decide this) rather obviously don’t read and/or really interact on the forums. So if you have something you want to champion you either do it through feedback OR the social spaces they actually use… not these forums.

It took me suffering through SOD and quitting about it to figure this out. The ban did nothing about gold buying or botting either, there were still tons of bots and sweats were still buying gold, just for the expensive pots.
